I am just more annoyed about the improper use of terminology. breastplate it is a weird use in that context because it was described as woven implying that the armor was likely a gambeson though it could have been a brigandine as they are made of metal plates but a breastplate would have made more sence if the elf lord said he forged the wonderer a magic breastplate. I guess the writers did not really think much about it when they write the script.

I thought of this episode when a local place in my area opened up with it being a salon in the front and a gun store in the back. It was hilarious seeing these “men's men" getting their haircut at what looked like a woman's hair place in the front. The back gunstore was set up pretty cool as well. Terry Brooks wrote them. At the time of this episode was a big late 90s trilogy that lasted until early 2000s, this was before the whole game of thrones excitement. Shannara was what bobby was reading, they have elves.

@@101Volts gun prices don't really inflate like other things because of legislation changes and in the case a of a luger the collector and milsurp market, but yeah 900 bucks would be a pretty good deal now. Lugers have been one of the most highly sought after pistols by US soldiers and then collectors for almost a century since the german army adopted them. When they do show up on the market they routinely go for upwards of 2000

We had a nice little used bookstore in town. Then the woman running sold it, it got turned into a comic book and used bookstore. It is now closed, the next closest one is a 25 minute drive, and I don't care much for getting mine at the thrift stores in town.
