King's Birthday marked with Royal Gibraltar Regiment parade at Casemates Square

The King's Birthday has been marked with a Royal Gibraltar Regiment parade at Casemates Square.
42 soldiers have paraded with a mix of regulars and reserves, with the Regiment band supported by the Salamanca Band of The Rifles.
This is the first parade for Lieutenant General Sir Ben Bathurst since being sworn in as Governor.
Shelina Assomull spoke to him at the Convent.

I would guess it’s cushy until the sh-one-t hits the fan when suddenly it’s not. Low likelihood but always possible. Look at e.g. the Turks and Caicos in 2009 when the Governor had to assume direct control.

Hello Mr. Tom Holland Roberts . HM King Charles The lll , not Charlie, as you disrespectfully or jokingly address him , always dresses elegantly well whether in uniform or otherwise .

This wasn't the King, it was the governor of Gibraltar, Sir Ben Bathurst.
