I think it's time this so called tradition was stopped. It's cruel to the horses and isn't anything other than superficiality in order to attract stupid tourists, most of whom have no respect for the horses.

The horse at the start is not Ormonde, it’s one whose blaze is similar, but slightly more pointed edges and the little black dot. Does anyone remember what his/her name is?

They take really good care of the horses, and they only stand there for an hour. It's not bad.

@@AmeliaEarhart53756 Oh, I see. Have you asked the horses? Did they tell you that? I know enough about horses to know that what they are subjected to on Whitehall is not in their best interests. There is no need for this "tradition" to continue. It was brought in as a real protection for the Monarch against potential attack when Whitehall was a Royal Palace under Henry VIII. Did you know that? They are no longer a protection for the Monarch. They are purely a draw for the tourists and it's time it was stopped.

Your not allowed to touch a guard because they are on duty. Why do they allow people to touch the horses that are on duty? It’s no wonder that they get irritated.

This is beyond a joke now. This horse Ormonde is not enjoying these people getting so close yet these Guards are allowing it. Let them get pics with the other horses that don't mind it because it's becoming cruel to this horse.

I don't like that this channel creator is more interested in audio taping what the troopers and police are "talking about" rather than the crowds and interaction.
