Just rode my S18 to local MTB trail , more like beginner level MTB trail, for the first time on today and totally understood the concept of its design now.....though I am still not happy with the mount of battery capacity even for trail usage per say, but I could feel every bit detail how and why the wheel was designed in this way. However, due to its low centered design for balancing, my pad hit stone at the tiny stone garden and by the root three times. Other then these, first time at that rail and firt time using this wheel on MTB trail, I totally happy with it. But when I back to the pavement.........ah.....sad battery life again....|||| That trail was not properly maintained by county government, trail roads were narrowed by the growing weeds and wild plants, so I was also kind of learning riding on skinny as well, on top of the up tree root steps and down tree root steps and over small area/tiny stone garden. This wheel took over all of that without any issues. Love it......just need more battery capacity so I can sty on the trial learning and practicing skills for longer time.

You gotta lube the suspension components, I looked up videos about it right after my first ride, didn't want it ever going dry. It's a must to keep the exposed moving parts greased

you mess around with the pedal level at all? my first day on the S18 I ran those bottom squared off areas (battery protectors I think) into a curb as I tried to jump it, so I ended up raising the pedals to the highest spot. I had to put some padding above my feet to keep the lock in, but I prefer all the extra ground clearance. S-18 probably has the highest pedals already, so on the highest spot, this EUC feels really unique
