Thank you for this! I was in search for what my great-uncle Shorty Hunt looked like in his elder years and have now finally found it. Thank you!

Thank you to whomever spent the time to do this.... As a person who watched this amazing story done by PBS a few years ago ( I recommend to all to watch this) which led me to buy and read the book numerous times this was as good as it gets..... After reading this book you feel as if you know these fellows....... Going to see the movie soon or will probably buy the DVD... I did watch a short news clip on youtube with Joe Rantzs grandson and it had a few home movies on it... I was pleased that Joe Rantz must of had a Welsh Terrier for a dog as thats the breed I have too..... thanks again for showing these amazing men.....

Just saw the movie and so proud of these guys, what a feat given the historical context, overcoming social and economic barriers, and bringing it all together to row the race of their lives to win gold medal. Glad this story was told.

Please read the book and you will be even more proud. The film show only a VERY little bit of they have to go through to get to their goal.

Thank you for searching for this wonderful story and rebroadcasting it. As a huge rowing fan, I thought I’d never get to see footage of the boys in one of their anniversary rows. What a gem ❤️

My understanding is that after this 50th anniversary, the crew still honored the timeless practice of tossing the coxswain in the water at the end of the "race". Awesome comradery over all those years!

I am rereading the book that so excellently told this story. The Boys in the Boat after watching the movie of the same name on Christmas Day. Thanks for the clip

Here I am almost 58 myself. I am so proud of these men. They made me more inspired today than I've ever been in so long. God bless all those men in the boat. They are incredible. Young or old hot looking too ❤️

Joe Rantz giving his profession as fence builder is modest given his long career as an engineer at Boeing. It wouldn't surprise me if the fences he built in the 80's are still standing today. Looks like first rate wood. A group of men who deserve to be looked up on as sports heros. A retired chemical engineer living in my childhood home town inspired me to pursue an engineering career so I guess that makes me a little more drawn to him.

Krantz was just going to town with the chainsaw without even a pair of glasses on. The 80’s were wild 😂🤣
