I used to think Jay-Z was highly overrated mainly because I was in highschool during the Watch the Throne era and for the way he was respected I felt like his music was just ok but during the pandemic I checked out all his older albums... He might be #1 all time if you count skill + mainstream success. And only people close Eminem and Kanye if you count Ye both as an artist and as a producer for other artists
