Like other posters, I was a random expat who happened to be near this game area in real life shortly after the game dropped. Super cool to visit these areas and sometimes feel like you know exactly where you are. Looking forward to the next edition of the game!

@@wingedhussar1453 Bland medieval age? The developers are known for their meticulous attention to historical accuracy, and they invested a lot of time and effort into researching the culture, customs, and daily life of medieval Bohemia. This was the first time I ever learned something about the region, and it was certainly interesting to go to Czech Republic in real life and see the statues of the people mentioned in-game. The Kingdom of Bohemia was a diverse region, and a center of political and cultural activity, calling it bland doesn't do it justice. Czechia is always overlooked, I'm glad it finally got the attention it deserves.

Isn't this the music that plays in any place where awful stuff happened? Like, you get close to Skalitz or Neuhof, (maybe Pribyslavitz (before you rebuld it) and Merhojed as well IIRC) after the things that happen in those places have happened, this starts playing. As wonderful as the track is, I at least can't associate it with wanting to be there.

@Hay_M Those ladscapes are drone captured, same with cities and villages. Mr. Vávra and his team spent serious amount of time studying old maps, archives and historical documents so every village you see in the game is almost exactly what it used to looked like. Wardrobe and history itself as well. Exept destruction of Přibyslavice which happend a bit later than in the game but it was changed for the storyline. This game is a serious masterpiece and I love it more than any other game😊

They did shape it on a massive scale even back then. Look up "lindybeige forest" to learn more about how forests were managed in the middle ages. He has many good short documentaries.

@@LubosMudrak Sure they did. What i tried to say: if you take the scale of what they did back then and compare it to today, it's dwarfed. Today, relocating thousands and thousand of cubic meteres of dirt is no issue, as well as building giant bridges. That was not possible at nearly that scale back then, so any path had to be much more harmonious with the natural landscape. You couldn't just bridge 500m across the valley.

I would like French developers to creat such a masterpiece for my country France. But French aren't no more proud to be French. French developers prefer to do a game with a black samourai instead of creat a historic game in the glory of our country. Warhorse be praised to make us discover their beautiful country and their history with this masterpiece KCD. I'm hyped since the annoucement of the second game!

It is said that the black samurai is historical, but we all know that Ubisoft should improve gameplay to grab customers' attention instead of adding another hypebait to a trailer

One of the few games that sucked me in, and did not let go. That has been rare the last 5/10 years. Can't wait till the follow-up will be released, I hope they do not rush the game (:

Good, cool, beautifull, epic, immersive, adictive, with a really good story but really bugged sometimes. And i love this game and this music. Special Thanks for "the name of the rose" inspiration in monastery. I just regret Salvatore was not in.
