Ha ha yeh.. The problem is that there's no easy way to separate the process into separate "highlight" and "finishing touches" stages, so I just end up with one long stage of the two combined 😄

This is a spectacular work as always. However, that one small detail of adding capillaries to the skin impressed me the most. It made the figure even more gruesome and "real". I really appreciate the attention to detail that you demonstrate in every video. Can't wait for the next one.

When I see a piece like this I have to decide which route to go: realistic, fantasy, or just lean in to the horrific side. How you managed to not just do all 3 baffles me. Truly inspirational. First time I have seen one of your minis I wouldn't want (in a good way that thing gives me the heebie-jeebies. Something about those wing hands the little grasping hands, can't even.) Best art I have seen you do, thank you for sharing and inspiring (not to mention all you do for the community.)

@@Sorastro Absolutely loved it. It's honestly like a masterclass without the breakdowns spotlighting the individual sections in real time. The OSL off the lake, the general color integration and contrast (starting to understand a little more color theory) but your choices amaze me. The beak striations. The skin on the top of the head with all the veins and them looking layered through the skin instead of on top of it. I could go on, but just thank you!

This is top drawer stuff. A stunning piece! On a sidenote I really learn a lot seeing how you mix and use your Scalecolor paints. I do love mine for glazing but you use them in a much more varied way.
