I always preferred this version over the "final" 2.5 version cause this version had an extra punch that was lacking in the 2.5 version.

IMO, both renditions of Rage Awakened fit their respective situations nicely; KH2's comes along as frantic and more fight-pumping, representing the sheer strength and terror of the secret boss. BBS's comes along as more bittersweet, representing the final stand of a Keyblade wielder who has lost everything but his spirit.

No tears, no regrets. There may not be a second chance. Once we do this, all shall be lost to oblivion's grasp, or rescued from its depths. At that point, maybe the world will have another chance to exist. For if destiny grants us its power, we can change anything. Even though things are as they are, nothing can sever the bonds we hold to each other's hearts. Through the sands of time, they will never wither and die; they're here to stay. My friends are my power, and I'm theirs!

Even though Terra is a pain in KH2 (a fun pain) You can't help but now feel proud that you leveled him up so well in BBS xD That's my boy

i feel proud i leveled up terra to level 100 and got the command deck with precisely the same moves as this fight and gave him the ends of the earth keyblade

Man I can't wait to fight as the Enigmatic Soldier with Roxas and the blue haired woman in the Keyblade War when Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out on the PlayStation 3!

I thought I was going to break my controller trying to beat Terra. When I finally did beat him and got my gold crown, I don't think I ever felt so accomplished.

Man this is such an awesome emotion evoking song. I feel as if the violin is crying for Terra because of what happened to him, but then when the song picks up, there's an overall theme of strength and triumph. Love it.

The way he remembered Xehanort and it triggered his spirit it grabbed his keyblade and the song starts to play, always an emotional ride there.

This is just awsome the rage, the sorrow blended beautifully together, to make such a wonderful piece of work.

Considering all the references to Terra being angry in BbS, his recent explosion of darkness rage in the new trailer, and the song's title which plays during a fight with supposedly Terra in KHIIFM, its a guarantee that this song will be in BbS, just how Xemnas's battle theme (Disappear) was in KHIFM and KHII.

Most epic song on Kingdom Hearts. Just another reason why KH2 has one of the greatest VG soundtracks of all time. I wish Terra was on the US version.

This series truly has the most epic VG music there is. Just insane

I would say this music has lotsa classic epic Disney final-fight feeling in it, I like it!

The oldman is Master Xehanort, the keyblade master. The three armored keyblade users were searching for Master Xehanort ever since his long disappearance. Terra, who's the Enigmatic Soldier in Final Mix+ is someone who tries to find about himself, who he truely is. I think thats why he hated Master Xehanort since he told him the truth about something.

I don't think there is another song that can make you feel sad and pumped up full of excitement simultaneously

Roxas has a Piece of a Heart. Ventus's Heart, Which was broken after *spoiler* he destroyed the "Kye"Blade, with Ventus's Darkness-Vanitas. The Broken piece of his Heart was accepted into Sora, Giving Sora the ability to Wield the Keyblade. When Sora Became A Heartless in Kingdom Hearts 1, the piece of Ventus's Heart that was lost within Sora was released, and it attached itself to Sora's nobody, Roxas, Giving Roxas The Altered Appearance, rather than having Roxas look more Like Sora. Thinking..

i know, this theme is awesome, gets u pumped up. Japan, they knew what they were doing.

This was in KH2FM, from 2007, before BBS, before we knew how Terra was, he was just an easter egg in the FM version of KH2. But Nomura being the master improviser that he is, made it work so what Terra's lingering sentiment said and where he was and how he fought all made sense when explained in BBS.

It symbolizes the true heart and it's relations...a true paradise called Kingdom Hearts where darkness and light are one for eternity

sorta, xion's death awakened something in ven's heart (which was inside roxas at the time) and triggered something called "sync blade". this allowed roxas to use both sora's and ven's keyblades.

Fighting this guy made me break the vibration in my controller since I threw it on the ground so many times in frustration. When I finally beat him though, I had to change my pants.

@simbafan92 Heh, thanks. I'm not much of a musician though. But in all seriousness, that is one of the strengths of the Kingdom Hearts soundtracks; symbolism. A lot of the unique, character or story specific musical motifs or scores are so well crafted and symbolize a lot of the characters or story elements shown in the entire series. It's almost as if the Kingdom Hearts music, ALL of it, tells a story all on its own.

@lastblade3 Well, there's also 10 new synthesis items and new equipment The new types are remembrance, tranquility, and then there are 2 new orichalcum materials: the manifest illusion, and the lost illusion. And there is a puzzle sidequest with 144 puzzle pieces spread throughout the worlds, and there are six puzzles. Each one gives you a prize. The 2 big ones give you badass prizes.And not to mention the mushroom sidequest and the cavern of remembrance and lastly, Terra and critical mode.

you can really feel the rage, indeed.......it's heavy, but energetic.

@simbafan92 Well, music is only half of it, the battles themselves need to attribute something. Rage Awakened for example is a callback to two things. The first is the fact that it contains elements of Terra's theme, and the second is that it's a callback to the secret boss in KH2 and the origins of said boss. The fact that the BBS version of Rage Awakened is more melancholy to the KH2 one indicates that we now know how the Armor came to be, and the ultimate fate of Terra in the grand scheme.

Everytime I listen to this, I actually feel either overzealous or enraged for no apparent reason. This music is definitely titled correctly.

Sora is capable of wielding two keyblades... when he goes valor form, master form, final form, and also when he borrowed riku's keyblade to fight xemnes, even though he need allies to use those forms he still uses two keyblades regardless. besides sora said his power came from his friends, and it literally did.
