I would suggest against using the ultima weapon in your first playthrough unlike in KH and KH2 the Ultima weapon is far from balanced in KH3 it destroys everything with minimal effort since KH3 is baby difficulty already you don't want it being easier

I never knew about golden highwind on my playthrough so I had to mash dodge roll and hold the fire button against the boss for 20+ min straight before I got the Orichalcum +.

Count yourself lucky - I never got mine. Over ten hours put into it (not in one sitting, thank God) and still no Orichalcum +. Just my luck that’s the only one piece I’m missing too

@@The_Petey Yeah, but fortunately I found an alternative solution. I started a new game, and luckily THIS time I got it. Only downside is that I now have to recomplete the game, but I say that's a small price to pay, plus the game is fun so I don't lose anything in the end.

The way I play KH3 I end up unlocking the recipe before I fight Davey Jones in the Carribbean, as well as synthesising Save the King and Queen + then and there. One thing I do kinda wish though is in New game + Ultima Weapon required the Orichalcum +s to level up to encourage players to go out of thier way to get the rare material.

What, a second time just because? No thanks. That would defeat the purpose of new game plus entirely considering keyblades are the only thing that carry over. You cant even get O+ until late game so the Ultima Weapon would be useless until then, again negating the point of new game plus. Terrible idea.

Finally. Almost done synthesizing the Ultima Weapon! Thanks for helping me. I’m just trying to level up my Gummi ship because I’m trying to beat that Giant Heartless in space to unlock the last Orichalcum+ but it’s so hard so looking for the materials to power up my ship more. Had help from you unlocking the Ultima Weapon in Kingdom Hearts 2. When I finished Kingdom Hearts 1 since my ps5 made me start over again when I insert the disc I’ll follow your steps to unlock the Ultima Weapon.

Don’t go to the gummi editor. Instead, just embark from MST-03 and in the setup there you can change your ship to the blueprint.

After I finally beat the Olympus flan mini game I sat down and did the long trek to get Ultima and I did it! I actually did it and ur guide helped so much. I decided to test it out the final boss (I had already beat the game on proud mode) and I OBLITERATED him this Keyblade is ridiculous, thanks man!
