Imagine Ignis teaching Sora how to cook. I think it'd be cool if he was one of the chefs in the kitchen. I know Kingdom Hearts has more Disney than Final Fantasy at this point, but it'd be pretty fun to see their interactions.

For anyone who is wondering about the ingredients, they are all random in every world almost. They provide x2 or more, depending, on what you collect towards each world but will usually have an ingredient or two you may have already got before. They typically have the appearance of a bright green herb for herbs, mushrooms for any mushroom, sea food etc. But in some places like Twilight Town, the ingredients will also be in small boxes of what looks like Chinese food boxes, or a basket of fruit. In other worlds the boxes can also appear as what the ingredients look like sometimes, or looks like a plain box, so scavenging and searching is key. What ingredients you find, will always stay the same where you find them, and there are abilities/accessories that can increase the amount you can collect as well.

I notice from the vast majority of the comments you posted that many of you want David Tennant to voice Scrooge McDuck for this game. While it would be cool hearing him, but to be honest and in my honest opinion I don’t think he would’ve fit this version of Scrooge, because the Scrooge in the KH series is meant to be a business entrepreneur (e.g. selling Sea Salt Ice Cream, Opening a Bistro in Twilight Town) which is different from David’s version of Scrooge in the 2017 reboot who is meant to be adventurous, even though he also runs a business, but not in the same level as the Scrooge from the original 1987 cartoon and especially the KH series. Secondly, I haven’t seen David voice Scrooge in anything else besides the 2017 reboot and the actor they choose for him in the game is meant to be a sound alike for Alan Young who passed away in 2016. Not to mention that Huey, Dewy and Louie are still voiced by Russi Taylor and not the actors from the 2017 reboot in this game. Also, Enn Reitel does a surprisingly good job voicing Scrooge McDuck in this game not great as Alan Young and David Tennant but good. Finally I love seeing Remy again and can’t wait to cook some food with him. 🐀🍳🍝🍛

I started learning french last year and I am so happy I was able to understand the entire "mission statement" of Le Bistrot. Granted even if I didnt know a lick of french I knew exactly what I would say from watching the movie!

As much as i find the combat subpar compared to the others, i do like some of the collectables and other side activities in this game. I at first found the Bistro iffy, with you not only having to find ingrediants but do a cooking mama type minigame to create dishes, but it grew on me once i got the hang of it. It actually made me wish there was someone kind of fishing mechanic because some of the dishes require different types of fish to make, but thats just because i love fishing in video games (Okami being my favorite). Maybe even straight up cooking mama by having each dish require different steps and a score at the end for howgood the food is.

Here’s a tip I just figured out now. If you’re sick of constantly going getting the ingredients back, save the game right before you enter the bistro. If you mess up, return to main menu and go back to bistro.

The cooking mini games were cool and all, but damn was the ingredient gather so annoying, especially with Donald not shutting his mouth when one is near
