I just love how the Disney/Pixar charatcers are actually way more interactive with the Kingdom Herats badguys this time around, going as far as to tell them off or actually try to confront or even fight them. I don't know why, but I love it. Probably a part of my childhood which loves seeing old heroes spring into action again against new, much more sinister opponents who would likely wreck their faces.

Sully yeeting Vanitas into a child's bedroom, and then tossing the doors into another door repeatedly, was by far the funniest thing I've seen happen in the series. Also just generally cool seeing one of the world party members actually do something to the main villains.

Although I don't fully understand Kingdom Hearts' storyline, I wholeheartedidly agree with your statement. Woody and Buzz are inseperable. It's part of the reason why I think Woody chose to have all of his friends as well as himself be donated to Bonny. He didn't want to be apart from his family, to infinity and beyond.

Supposedly, if you closely, you can see where Andy stitched up Woody's shoulder, so it takes place after 2. And Pixar was heavily involved in the production, contributing to things like story and design approval. Apparently Nomura wanted Toy Story represented as early as the first game, or make Woody and Buzz summons in KHII and it took him ten years to get Pixar's confirmation.

....I'm on 7 min in and this is already my favorite take they've ever had on any of the Disney worlds. Like seriously, before this one, I never really felt much for the Disney stuff. It was all a means to an end. Padding, just meant to get to the next actual Kingdom Hearts scene. It's part because most of the time, the Disney worlds are just shittier versions of the movies they're based on. Like you already know what is going to happen. Nothing is a surprise and the characters are protected by plot armor. The FF characters only fair slightly better, since they're uprooted entirely from their games. But this...I'm getting Undertale vibes and would love it if Sora undergoes Buzz's character arc. Going from thinking he's real to realizing he's a video game character.

Maybe they're copies as much as the copied world is. They only exist as long as hardware runs them. That is true for now while people play KH3.

I believe they are the real Woody and Buzz, just simply displaced in a realistic copy of their world. Xehanort explained this at 12:13 where he and the Organization were researching how hearts connected to each other in the Toy Story world. They also wanted to test the limitations of said connection, which is why they created a copy world and isolated some of the characters to stress the connection. So I’m assuming that in Toy Story prime world; Woody, Buzz, Rex, Ham, the toy soldiers, and the aliens are missing.

They probably got back, I think they just kept them in the alternate world so that the player could always go back and have them in the party. Bit of a shame they couldn't have done something similar with Rapunzal for Corona, I know her hair gets cut but they could have maybe done something similar to Ping/Mulan in KH2 and have her come back with a different fighting style when you return to that world.

No. They must be in the convincing world, while they’re friends an Andy’s family must be in the real world. They must’ve been asleep while they’ve been separated into the convincing world and Andy in the real one. That’s why buzz’s laser actually does damage and crazy things happening in the convincing, but what was happening to Andy the entire time

William Pulfer-melville Yes even Pixar has confirmed it themselves following the world's announcement at D23 2017. You could tell from the stars on the wall and the fact that Woody's arm has the red stitching that Andy sewed at the end of the 2nd film. Along with the fact that the three aliens are the same ones that Mr. Potato Head saved during the car chase sequence.

I love how much the villian underestimated how tight Woody and Buzz are as friends they have that brother bond. Woody was willing to basically die in Toy Story 3 after Buzz extended his hand. You can't break that bond that those two have. And when it comes to Woody and Andy, it's practically like a father/son bond. :')

Maybe in this game, Galaxy Toys were AI's Toy Barn copied world the whole time. 😂😂

Something I just realized. Donald should have been a rubber duck toy. Like Wheezy or something. Sora probably would've looked better as like an action figure like Buzz just something less blocky, but I understand why they went the way they did. Goofy would've looked good as a cloth toy like Woody or Bullseye.

Hey guys bet ya didnt know this in KH2 toy story was supposed to be in the second game but due to budget limitations or system limitations they scrapped it. And now in here they finally managed to get the toy story franchise in this one Im so happy :)

Did anyone notice that in the demo when Rex calls sora Yozora he hugs sora Donald and goofy after that and calls them different names? That was cut out in the final game
