Sora looks like Vanitas, Riku Replica obviously looks like Riku and they had already been told that someone looked exactly like them. I would love a lot of interaction between them in the future, but I think they get that looking exactly like someone else is normal in this world... Maybe they could joke about it in the future though.

Nah man look at that keyblade fist bump. I LOVE IT. It's very cool that they both thought of it, remembered me of the limit between riku and sora in kh2, but also to the moment when Terra makes Riku his successor in BBS. Square NAILED this DLC.

They're my 2 favorite guys in the series and I was really bummed they didn't interact in the initial release, so I absolutely loved this!!! And their team attack is called "Successor." Just perfect :')

@@wakewind4129 Bruh chill, Aqua has been through some shit that none of the other characters have and doesn't wanna go through that again. She's always serious in fights and lightens up a ton when not.

Michael Shumard Axel lost his heart, was forced to work for an intergalactic death cult, and his two best friends died/erased from existence. Then he literally died himself. Everyone has a sob story. But Axel isn’t a garbage wooden character like Aqua.

@@wakewind4129 Axel wasn't forced, he chose to work for them as him and Isa were searching for their missing friend. He lost Roxas yes, but only for a year and he didn't remember Xion at all until she came back. When did he "literally die" again? If anything he was revived. Aqua in comparison grew up with Terra and they both trained with Ven for... 5 years I think? She then had to deal with both her friends leaving because Terra got mad and Ven chased Terra. Terra got taken over by Xehanort and Ven got put in a coma, while Aqua was stuck in the RoD for 10 years, saved both Mickey and Riku by sacrificing herself to stay in the RoD longer until eventually the darkness overwhelmed her and she became Phantom Aqua. Yeah, she gets a pass for being too serious sometimes.

Ten years waiting for that conversation. Then Terra and Riku do a combined limit attack.

@@19Sephirot93 well maybe. time works differently in the realm of darkness. hence why: - she didn't (lose her marketability) age - she tells ansem... or was it terranort.... that ventus is in the chamber of waking in one scene, goes to sleep, then is immediately saved by mickey in the next scene. ansem/terranort must've informed xemnas because he built the chamber of repose in the likeness of the CoW and stored aqua's armor and keyblade there. that must've happened *at least* 8 years before KH1 (in KH1, cid said maleficent conquered RG 8 years ago) and *at most* 2 years after BBS. mickey didn't arrive in the RoD until some time in KH1. adding the one year between KH1&2 and the unspecified amount of time between KH2&3, aqua spent at least 11 years in the RoD but felt only *3 years at best.* .... however, castle of dream's presence at the beginning of 0.2 complicates things. did worlds begin disappearing 8 years before KH1 or just shortly before the beginning of KH1? if the latter, then how did xemnas have enough time to build a new room in ansem's basement all while evading the rabid heartless and maleficent's notice? well terranort split into ansem and xemnas by then, so aqua must've blabbed to ansem. ...... but given how in kh3 terra's and lingering will's only concern was terranort and ansem treated aqua as if they'd just met and/or he didn't expect to find her there, it'd make more thematic sense if she blabbed to terranort. but that necessitates the 3 years thing. answer: *we can't confirm how much time aqua actually **-felt-** in the RoD* because time doesn't make sense there.

I feel like that one scene combined with the scene between Riku and Namine in the ending is enough to completely discredit the Roxas/Namine thing, I don't know why anyone thought that worked in the first place.

This part truly sold it for me. I can't wait to get the dlc Feb 25th it could not come sooner. I absolutely love the interactions between the guardians its so wholesome like a casual day hanging out with friends except their fighting the enemy.

Being a guy who watched Mickey Mouse's Clubhouse as my childhood education show, this scene made me think I root for the right mascot. Excessive company capitalism aside, the magic in Disney's legacy continues to glow, and it still continues to amaze.

this whole dlc was awesome, but this group fight and the part where you're only Mickey was just perfection. worth the money in my book.

You can really tell that Roxas and Ven are going to be fast friends in the future. Heck, I'm even expecting them to have special team attack in the next games.

I agree!!! Its just sad that Sora (who was both time travelling and fighting MX) and Kairi wont there.... Redemption though as they fight together later!!

Obviously Nomura has his own way of telling a story and that's natural no writer goes about telling one the same way. He operates under rule of cool and then figures out how things connect later, my only advice to him would be to streamline those ideas more. I myself have no problems following along with the more wackier plot points he comes up with, but making sure it's clear cut and easier for others to follow should be a priority. For example a lot of things the dlc explained like with Xion I had already pieced together while playing the original game. I figured they used a replica to put her heart in and that the orginazation recreated her, I also knew Roxas had the tools to come back by that fight because that was part of Sora's plotline. I also thought that Lingering Will at some point was absorbed back into the guardian since that's Terra thus explaining why the armor was no where to be seen during the Sora, Aqua, and Ven fight. I could go on, but my point is I've never had a problem piecing anything together even as a kid when playing 2. Nomura should make sure going forward his explanations for some of the weirder ideas he get's can be followed by everyone. So when it happens people will get right away that B happened because of A and this allows for C to take place.

Definitely an improvement. But it's still peculiar why they don't ever bother questioning the obvious. A simple "Yo chief, what's with us looking alike?" would've enough to satisfy this wonder that's been going on for years, lol.

Roxas and Xion......😑 no there pretty much like Brother and sister. They’re both pretty much Sora and Kairis kids. Since they came from them. I would say Naminé and Roxas but Naminé came from Sora too, well Kairi who was inside Sora so yeah. Roxas and Xion dating....Then people ask where they came from and they both reply Sora and Kairi. Yeah no, I can’t see them together, I could see Riku and Namine though.

I, for the life of me, couldn't understand what they were saying either. After reading your comment though I shut my eyes and listened intently, and this is what I could make out. How accurate it is, though, I have no idea. Terra: "So... you've gained the power to protect what you hold dear." Riku "Yeah. Thanks to you."

@@VelvetLuca Yeah. I could hear what Riku and everyone else in this encounter were saying, it was just Terra that was giving me trouble. Honestly, I noticed a lot of issues with the audio in this DLC. Sometimes the music was too quiet, sometimes their mics would peak, and other times they'd be almost silent. I hope that gets patched up later on. Like Stardust was saying, though, an option for subtitles would be nice too.

There's probably not a lot of time to record the battle lines for Terra in the English version. Maybe if one of the next KH games focuses on the Wayfinder trio's trip to RoD, they can record new battle lines for Terra.

Fax, i love the disney parts but i honestly would love a strictly KH original character game with multiple playable characters

@@ZenonXZ Maybe have a game where they go to multiple Disney worlds but as a big group- sometimes they split up so that they can have unique dynamics, like maybe having Sora and Kairi as one group, Riku and Terra as another, and some kind of awkward but endearing mess of Lea, Roxas, Ventus, Xion and Isa trying to work out who's friends with who and what happened, and also Aqua and Naminé or something like that- you could get a lot of character stuff about pairing literally anyone up with Isa for even just part of a world, since basically everyone's got a reason to be mad at him. Throw in some repeat worlds that weren't in the later games. Maybe Sora, Roxas and Xion introducing Riku to the Beast and trying to explain that he's not trying to help Maleficent anymore, or landing on Neverland to realize that literally everyone knows Peter Pan, or going to the Coliseum and the Wayfinder trio reminiscing with Hercules and Sora, Donald and Goofy arguing with Phil about their hero status and Roxas and Xion having fun, and maybe a tournament with Zack as the boss as Terra, and Hades just completely losing it because all the people he hates are here again. There's room for a great group dynamic here. I'd also say that they could set a smaller (much, MUCH smaller) game in a completely original world, without including any Disney or FF characters. They just wouldn't be able to travel between worlds much.

And if not that then you should remember that we sometimes play as a flashback version of Sora on the touchsvreen simultaniously with Rocas

Xion wasn't playable in KH3, and neither was Lea. They were in mission mode in Days, but well I wouldn't really count that as playing like them tbh

@@adrianramosgonzalez7207 You gotta look ad the grqnd picture. Remind had the fight against the vessels. If you didn't control any of the characters you claimed that aren't playable then you couldn't win the fight. You need to use Xion, Aqua and Mickey to defend against their attacks and use a reprisal. If you wouldn't be able to control the others which are Riku, Roxas, Ventus, Lea and Terra, then you wouldn't be able to really damage them. After all, you can use them to jump as a dodging mechanic or attack. You might not have full control, but these characters are still playable. Also I wouldn't define playability by mode, which brings me to days. You can control the other organization members, can't you? You attavk with them, use defensive mechanisms etc. Which makes them just as playable as Roxas. Now then, let's look at Zelda Phantom Hourglass. Zelda can go into phantoms and those phantoms are controllable, thus playable. Does that make Zelda playable? Indeed it does.
