Really fun fight. Punishing her pillar move makes the fight a bit easier as well. Had no clue you could even do it until I did this challenge. Xion has a few weird guard fail issues, but you can kinda work around them by avoiding being against the wall when she does certain moves.

Xion and roxas's story is my all time favorite and xion is my favorite character in the series so i definitley agree. I think the final xion scene in kh358/2 is what made this game stick with me forever

Other than her tendency to snipe you before you can heal or when a finisher goes off far more effectively than the rest, yeah she’s the best. Best music hands down

I love how Data Xion is basically the Data Roxas of this game. Fast foe, keeps her hood up, does keyblade combos, is constantly zipping around and creating light pillars, and is also created from Sora

Just beat her on critical myself (no other restrictions mind you, though my Kupo coin didn’t trigger). I got the start down perfect and was really starting to nail the timing of the mid section and surviving the end. Ended up just being a lucky run where I got away with some really clutch heals. Your videos have been a big help. I’d only played on standard before but have taken a critical run nearly all the way to its conclusion with Yozora

This fight is so much more fun after learning all of the punishes omg. My first time through i thought this fight was just glorified guard spam. Glad to see i was wrong.

I like to block the first two, dodge roll the third one to get closer, block the 4th one, then Counter Slash to hit Xion and i-frame through the 5th one. It does good damage with Final Blow.

This just goes to show how savage her fighting style is and not in a good way. Her moves lack finesse and she screams like a angry little boy. The experience is there, but she needs to properly execute her fighting style, other wise she just proves to be overwhelming, yet predictable.

Lee 24 She's pretty similar to Riku Replica in that aspect. Her primary tactic of using the light pillars to overwhelm Sora mirrors Riku's overtly aggressive sword combos. It also contrasts Roxas' light abilities, since Xion can only spam pillars and hope for the best while Roxas could create laser arrays and even mimic a Shotlock with his DM.

There's a moment in the second phase where Xion barrages you, jumps to your right, and then strikes. In that instance do you dodge instead of blocking because Xion changes angle to go around your guard?

Remaster of 358/2 days with online multiplayer mission compatibility when? Not only was it good as a game itself,(as good as a DS game could be) it was also a good explanation to all the inbetween lore. Not to mention the spicy memes that could be created with all the "Nomura forgot" plot holes that they would inevitably try to fill in.

I found an easy way to get Xion in her First DM. While she's readying her first attack, use the Oathkeeper/Oblivion shotlock fully charged, which will almost fully deplete her Armor. Then wait for an opemign and counter her to knock her out of it

the corona blade takes her right out it after you learn the the first gaurd counter..................... Seriously though, no enjoyment like that!!!!! totally blocking/dodging alll dm's on lv1 without shotlock or SUMMON, ESPECIALLY SUMMON is the only way ....... its all on my channel except M nort .... I have both xion but the final one had to damage. I'll get it after MX and YOZROA

@@andreainghilterra First, then we just wouldn't need data for them. Second, if they were crazy about data fights they could make the good keyblade wielders data bosses instead. Third: It would be better for the base game to be on point than for the DLC content to be lacking in a single regard. We wouldn't complain about losing the data battles because we would already have the equivalent.

Everybody's power is toned down for the sake of game mechanics

It's a Critical Mode ability that increases the damage of a reprisal if an you guard an attack during the first couple frames of guard being active.

Basically when you block when the attack is about to hit you your damage for the reprisal gets boosted

I don't think you can push her pillar move without pro codes since it doesn't allow you to airstrip quick enough. I've tried so many times and can't do it

WillJV2 oh I totally thought there was a pro code that doesn’t allow you to use your shotlock. I don’t have it though so I wasn’t sure and I tried turning off flowmotion abilities to just get one lock like yours but none of it worked. My bad 😅. Maybe I’m just not quick enough to airstep?

I feel like it would have been interesting if xion had kh1 sora's fighting movements of just swinging the keyblade like a baseball bat. Given she's made of his memories, it'd be an interesting way to conserve sora's original combat style and show a different direction it could take through xions own training and experiences.

@@faytbouleouve9811 Did you manage to skip Vanitas DM? Another tip with Ansem and most of the others DMs: put simba in one of your shortcuts then summon him as soon as they initiate their DM and continue to stomp them and then finish with triangle and you will survive almost all DMs with no sweat

Yeah. I managed to skip his DM by catching him as he is about to hop on his keyblade cycle. You can catch him in his regular move like that too - the one where he tosses ice and charges into you.

SlimegamingYT Still can’t tell if you’re serious so I’ll explain. There’s a menu unlocked by Re:Mind, that gives you ways to make the game easier or harder. Pro Codes are options to make the game harder. They do things like giving you your level one stats, give you zero base defense, auto drain HP and/or MP. To name a few.

Balaji Pranav uhh no. those are the pro codes. they slowly deduct your hp and mp until you have just enough hp to not be critical and 1 mp. also it’s “Liar” not “Lier”
