Kingdom Hearts 3 ReMind - Marluxia & Larxene No Damage (Level 1 Critical Mode)

This has been sitting on my pc for so long now. I wanted to go back and record the Luxord segment because I don’t have it for some reason, but I'm too lazy. This fight is actually kinda fun to do with the new combos and new forms.

To think there are people who think the new combos don't make that much of a difference. This shit would be near impossible with pre-patch Base Sora.

@@kurimiaisukurimu it's largely the part of the community who haven't touched the game since launch or beat it and never came back due to being disenchanted. It is a shame because I find the gameplay with the 1.09 patch to be the most satisfying in the series.

I never understood why no one outside the Kh Community praise the KH battle systems despite how satisfying, exhilirating and challenging it can be. They always say its button mashing when its really not. I mean, there is no other video game out there that is close to this kind of bombastic combat. Meanwhile FF7 Remake gets all the attention and praise.

I wholeheartedly agree. Even then, the KH community hasn't caught up with how great KH3 specifically can be with combat after the 1.09 patch. Although, there are other games that have combat as exhilarating as this. Devil May Cry, Sekiro and Bloodborne to name a few.

@@ironstark917 I agree that those games have fantastic combat but I would say they are more in line with the Action Game genre, while KH, i think is a standout when it comes to Action RPGs.

It's because many outside of the KH Community straight-up don't care for its gameplay and don't bother to delve deeper into how things work. It's kinda sad, because those same people would get upset if someone watered down THEIR favourite game the way they do

I think they didn't let us use Mickey so that his moment against the 12 replica would be more impactful.

@@soul6733 Either way, it's simply better from a gameplay perspective to at least let us fight from Mickey's perspective so we aren't just doing the same fight again. Mickey already has a combo string and his pearl can easily just function as his situation command attack.

No thanks. I'm all for a challenge. Did Critical Mode and have the Risk Taker trophy, but the speed of Data Marluxia and Data Larxene would probably cause a ton of frame lag, possibly even on a PS4 Pro. Plus, the ally AI wouldn't be able to keep up. Not that they could to begin with.

Eventually I plan to do pro codes for story fights. I have other things I wanna do first though since the story fights aren’t that great in this game

@@WillJV2 I'm with you on that. Sköll in particular is an ass with Pro Codes. Even with the luxuries I allowed myself by allowing Formchanges and Shotlocks (all other 11 codes active), he was still annoying.

Agreed. Just skip Sköll, or maybe slap in some Links and Magic.

@@NinjaWarotMCph My strategy with Sköll was a combo of fire magic, Dark/Double Form and the Shimmering Drops Shotlock(Ever After Keyblade) since that shotlock absorbs HP and isn't cancelled out from having No Cure and No Battle Items on.

@@ironstark917 Yeah I know, but I just wanna see how a Pro uses Level 99. Seeing everyone do a level 1 no damage run is becoming repetitive. I would like to see the truest extent of Sora's power. But sometimes it can only be seen through a pro player.

IAmElectrospecter I think he died retried it and splice the footage that way he can fight her at her max health I played this on critical mode and this doesn’t happen also he was in dark from before the cut scene and in the beginning of the fight he wasn’t

Edi Manjo disagree, definitely is a negative. I probably won’t be purchasing a KH game ever again until the gravity mechanics change to KH2FM or similar. gameplay means more to me than story. I’ll pass.

Im just saying that kh3rm turned what was once a very big flaw in the combat of games like bbs and ddd and actually enhances the combat for me as it allows for the most fleshed out aerial combat in the series while still having a solid ground game.

@@elgost2774 I agree. Aerial Dive is basically an air version of Stinger from the DMC franchise. Plus, air combos straight up do more damage. Another thing is some of the data fights require an air guard to counter such as Terra's dash.

I kinda agree with the other comments here. I see where you're coming from, the floaty air combat does kinda feel weird. But kh3 kinda made it more bearable especially with the shotlock zip thingy. It basically allows you to fly.
