With the Kingdom Hearts 3 ReMind DLC coming out I thought it might be useful for some people to have walkthroughs on the data fights encountered after beating the DLC. These are especially useful for those playing on Critical mode where some of the nuances of the fights aren't explained very well in-game.
Number 13, Master Xehanort. The final data fight. Big thank you to all those that have stuck with me through this series. Also... this dude has had so many VAs over the years. And now the voice of Hacker from Cyberspace? Seems fitting for a data fight.

I know this is older, but in his first DM, he is open for a moment after his 4th magic bomb. You can airslide through it the moment he does the move and get off a combo. It has strict timing, but if you manage to land off a combo, you don't have to deal with the rest of the move Edit: the move at 2:49 is what I'm referring to. You can airslide through that bomb and land a combo if you're fast enough

Bro let me say this right now, these are the best guides on these fight out. I literally was stuck on Saix for a week and got past it because of you. Now I beat 3 in one day.

I watched 2 other guides before finding yours, they helped a lot but that last DM was just wrecking me. Somehow I beat him first try after watching this. So thanks. =D

I just beat him! Once you figure out how to completely counter his 2nd DM Its easy, (On Proud anyway, even on critical I imagine) I learned all his Open spots after dying many times but now Its easy, as well as with Xion. Imma be real... I think Dark Riku is still the hardest for me personally... Funny enough he was the first guy I fought lol.

Looking forward to it! I took down my final 4 bosses (btw I’m on Xbox) and it took some hours and then went to fight yozura and he immediately killed me and I was like “ya know what... I think I’m gona take a little break before I go back and fight him” 😂😂

After the DM he follows a pretty consistent pattern. Scope it out and feel confident in your actions!

I might try this next, i just cant be bothered with rikku lol. Even xion was easier since her openings are consistent so hopefully xehanort is similar. I might just do survival on rikku lol i dont think he is as well designed as the rest, even yozora seems to have safer openings.

Idk why riku is so hard for everyone you can just brute force the battle and use ultimate transformation and the dark sora transformation to regain health while your mp bar fills if empty same with larxene vanitas marluxia and ansem. Xion was beating my ass and probably Xemnas has been the hardest so far for me now it's time for Master Xehanort.
