Also, come to think of it, Santa might've been a good lead, given he's somehow aware of children (and possibly adults) across all the worlds and, presumably, their locations so that he can deliver their presents.

If sora wants a pet dinosaur that badly, he can always return to the realm of sleep and pickup a Tyranto rex or a Cera terror.

On their next stop, Sora is going to take Riku to Monsters Inc. to prove that yes: there is indeed monsters that hide in your closet (even though they do it to make you laugh rather than scare the hell out of you).
