There are very few games that can truly pull off that large scale battle and make it actually feel like your fighting the hoards. This is one of the best.

This was one of the most badass sequences in KH2. Only complaint is that the wyverns and behemoths from the original trailer weren't in teh 1000 Heartless Battle, though in hindsight, I guess they wanted people to actually be able to beat that segment.

if ya'll notice KH was always release after a major release of a FF game. The first came out after FF X, the second came out after FF X-2, now the 3rd might come out after FF VII, but I won't be surprise to see Noctis in KH 3

Gotta love how before this point in KH2, any continuous onslaught of Heartless or Nobody cut away to the trio getting overwhelmed in a cutscene. After the 1,000 Heartless battle, that came to an end.

I would love to see a Dynasty Warriors style Kingdom Hearts game some day, but knowing Disney even though there is already a lot of fighting and "violence" in the series, Disney won't allow it. The 1000 heartless fight is probably the closes we will get to one.

It would be super nice to see this battle improved in the PS4 version, with different kind of heartless and more ACTUAL heartless on screen, not just the bunch of guys surrounding Sora. I do realize that back then there were some technical limitations, but the ps4 should be able to handle it, given that it's just a PS2 game.

Fun Fact: In the manga Demyx's death was sad as he cried telling Roxas he didn't want to die. Now imagine he says that here a Sora already knows and accepts he's Roxas and he was part of the Organization

Demyx is really the most logical one in the organizarion he goes against social norms and says you shouldnt judge and its lit (still a hard fight though)

Holy F@#$ing Sh#$!!! I just had a thought! To those of you who've seen Back Cover, does Xigbar/Braig with his hood up remind you of someone? The way he talks, moves his arms for emphasis, subtly hinting to people about something we can't fully guess at. Not to mention that he's one of two people in the KH series with only one eye. I don't have any other proof other than this, but the First Master from KH Back Cover seems SCARILY similar to Xigbar to me after watching this again after seeing BC. GAH!!! TOO CONFUSING!!!!
