Press Triangle to trigger the RC when near him. If you attack him during it, Demyx will get a free hit on you instead.

You get it by leveling up wisdom form. Same with dodge roll you get it from leveling up limit form

3 months late but personally I did a strat similar to this except with a little more reflect and getting hit involved, but I never found any of the limits or summons to be of too much help because I needed the reflects for certain attacks

Also worth mentioning when he was at 1 bar I used limit form to finish it, which I why I never used summons

@@SenonGaming Reflect is a godsend but how the hell do you deal with his Desperation move at 3:09? I keep my distance just fine but he seems to track HARD on the last hit, right after the sixth row of pillars are summoned. I tried moving into his face like the vid but I remember still getting hurt, whereas at 3:12 Sora is just fine walking up against him. It's the only part of the fight that keeps me from beating him but it's so damn annoying. 'n'

@@DemonicDevilDiran so if you block his attacks you can actually dodge roll out of that last hit orrrrr what I also do is just reflect 4 times, the problem with reflecting that is if he immedietly follows up with an attack its nearly impossible to dodge and pretty much always one shots you, so you can try either way and see what works for you

The ability is Finishing Leap, useful on some parts

Finishing Leap does take a bit since the animation is a bit long, so if you wanna throw him up in the air with some buffer room, I imagine upper slash would work just as well. Don't quote me on that tho, I haven't tested it lol

The combo Will does here, starting from when he jumps over Demyx and starts a ground combo, does a total of 11.5 RV (revenge value). Demyx's max RV is 12.5, meaning any higher and he will retaliate (forced revenge) like he does at 3:05 (Will did a few extra hits as Demyx was landing before launching him). If you hit a boss but don't hit their max RV, they will counter with a different set of moves than their forced revenge, called a normal revenge. It seems like Demyx's RC is in that set of moves, and likely in his later phase (at about 3.2 HP bars) is his only normal revenge move that he can do.

@@clevert. Demyx is the only one from the ancient keyblade legacy members we haven't seen in the past. We know luxord, marluxia, larxene. He has a goofy personality like the MoM, he says in KH3 that he is apparently so under the radar that he is the perfect one for the job, in KH2 he knew and told Sora that nobodies actually have feelings/heart (but he did so in a goofy way), and his character file is sus

@@serenityssolace is look good, but demyx is such a not important character, I mean he's only de comedic relief of the organization since he appeared. And about nobody having feelings, yeah that can be true, one of the most best examples is Flamey boy Axel(lea). He being the one moving the strings behind all this, that would be for me 1- weirld, literally I couldn't even guess it was him if the theory is true. 2- when know practically nothing of his past, and I doubt square is going to give us a hint. He is looks unimportant for the history.

In the game there's an ability that dont leave you lv up if you activate. Try harders use it for challenges and even speedrunners to.
