Thanks to the recent ending to kingdom hearts union X, there is a bit in the final moments when maleficents crow flys and perches on the window cill in the exact same way that we see the crow perch at yensid’s tower in this cutscene. This means that when maleficent took one of the pods in kingdom hearts union X in an attempt to return to her current time, her crow flew to the top of yensid’s tower to make the fairys remember maleficent so that she could return. If this didn’t happen then she would have not been able to appear in any kingdom hearts game other than the first one. The bird can be seen at 1:38
