Am I the only one who actually likes the cards? Honestly, this is my favorite game. After mastering the combat system this game became too easy to beat. I know people don't like using the cards but once you've learned using them you'll see this game is really enjoyable.

I decided to quit playing this game and just watch this, Don’t worry, I’ll be playing the rest of the series on the PS4 collections, but this game for me was very difficult to pass (Even on easy mode, it took me too long, and was finding myself was in the bad mood or not wanted to play this game feeling), due to the fact that cards system which I’m not a huge fan off and difficult to play with, so…. I finally gave up on it and just gonna watch this playthrough instead, now I’m back in my KH mood to continue the story. Honestly, I’m glad to see this comments section who felted the same way too, so glad I’m not the only one about it.

This game is so lucky that it has such an interesting story (otherwise I wouldn't even bother trying to suffer through it) and that the first game (which I beat for the first time in my life the other day) is so captivating a setup cause I swear I am too dumb and slow for the cards. If you get it, I bet this game is super fun. I can see it... but for me the combat is too slow and just when I start to "understand" it's like "no that was just luck" I like everything else... but I wish if they needed to implement cards, they just have it as an optional mini game for those that care to master needlessly. Someone could explain in "idiot" how to get the mechanics and I would just have a mental breakdown. I did play a bit of the GBA game and got roughly to when I fought Hades before things became too hard senselessly path. Well, at least there is a Beginner mode... but I fear I am too stupid for even that... It honestly doesn't feel all that different from Standard, lol!

very unique KH game. and the Best card game ever

I was embarrassed to admit this at first until I saw how others feel the same; I just lost interest in this game quickly. I loved KH 1 for it's combat and the moves you could pull off, but here you have to shuffle through a deck of cards in hopes to find the right one (which you usually won't have) while a horde of heartless and other enemies chases you down.

It was sooo fun in gba, recently collected it... Gonna play it again in a 3d view, i m excited...

I love kingdom hearts but this card system ain't working out for me. I'll just stick with the casual hack and slash stuff

This is gonna be a bitch to start from scratch again, hardest kingdom hearts game in my opinion. For several kingdom hearts games i made save points before boss battles and stuff of course i make sure to watch the more interesting and important cutscenes.

This game explains how Sora fell asleep in the first place. I know people who played KH2 after KH1 were very confused as to why Sora was sleeping and why were they playing as Roxas. 358/2 days explains why and how it took Sora a lot longer to wake up.

Rant Ahead: This game was amazing on Gameboy. You could definitely could see the love and effort that was put into making it, putting as much content as a gameboy advance could muster. Then you have this. Its super lazy and the controls are more complicated than it is on a gameboy. For comparison, a gameboy has an A and B button, and 2 trigger button, and a Dpad, along with the start and select buttons. A PS4/PS5 controller has 4 main buttons, an 4 trigger buttons, 2 analog sticks and a Dpad. They could have remade 358 and do less work, as its an actual 3d world, and it would have familiar locations seen in kingdom hearts 2, with familiar mechanics with added on features. It would be more playable and have a lot less confusing mechanics. It wouldve been a better and more welcome remake. Instead we have whatever this is. We were stolen from.

This game was so hard to beat but super fun

I loved the game back then as a kid but the game really didn’t love everybody else with the card battle system learning curve, I remember trying to fight the boss in Alice in wonderland and I could only use 1 card at a time trying to fight the boss cuz I had a hard time fighting that I used all my cards. This game is so sick tho, if I played when I was older then I wouldn’t have as hard of a time but nonetheless was hard

LETHAL FRAME ENDS BOSSES!!!! stuck on vexen for about 4 hours, looked up some tips and found gold!!!! If you want a challenge, dont use this sleight. For me, this game’s deal breaker is how simple it is once you get it. It pretty much just boils down to picking a bigger number than the opponent and stringing together smaller cards. Not bad, but just kind of underwhelming

Very grateful for these playthroughs of the KH games I can’t be bothered playing. I tried this out and just wasn’t a fan. KH1, KH2, and Birth by Sleep are the best in the series. The rest of them are kinda meh

This game is a breeze with magic decks , I was using a magic deck with primarily blizzards and Demyx heartless card which multiplies ice damage. Then on the final floor each enemy encounter had about 1000 enemies and they break your sleights very frequently and you can't use blizzard to clear fast because there are enemies that absorb it. Using keyblade cards is a huge pain. Oh and the story really sucks in this one , had my eyes rolling from what I was hearing.

I played this game upto like a Agrabah before getting sick of the Combat system. Worst ever. My deepest respect for you playing through the game. Story is great and I realize that I missed so much of the story between KH1 and KH2. But I refuse to play this combat card. If it was just map cards and puzzles but combat left alone this would be a good addition. But, I agree with most other comments. Terrible combat..
