@@TheSuperion123 The entirety of the Xehanort saga is caused due to a timeloop by the Master of Masters since he sees it happens and decides to make it happen. Before the start of KH1 Xehanort's heart goes back in time to cause Young Xehanort to become Xehanort to become Xehanort. This second time loop only happens because of the first time loop. During DDD Sora goes back in time to KH1 stealing the raft causing himself to notice the raft was missing in KH1 becoming the protagonist of the KH series. This third time loop only happens because of the second time loop. Young Xehanort then time travels to the future and dies to Sora in the future in KH3. This fourth time loop only happens because of the second and fourth time loops. Sora then goes back in time during KH3 and fights Young Xehanort during KH3 this fifth timeloop only happens because of the fourth time loop.

If the critical mix mod doesn't get updated to the new EGS patch I'm gonna have to get the steam release. Best way to play KH 1.

The critcal mix mod was the the most difficult KH experience ive ever had, unfortunately i didnt finish it, i got to the last battle and got stuck on the ship/ansem part where you had to save goofy. May try again someday but that save is long gone.

@@Number_055 the mod dev has stated they are not sure if the EGS version will continue to get supported now that the steam version is out. I don't develop mods so IDK exactly what might be preventing that.

actually on that, new update actually builds different on steam and on epic still despite the fact that it is literally the same update. It is likely easy to port between the two, but it is also very likely a *tedious* mess. @@Number_055

The Switch Pro controller is actually amazing for PC, I have been using one since they launched! Steam has integrated it for a long time, and a lot of games have button prompts built into the Steam versions. Pairs to Windows/Steam seamlessly, gyro controls work really work, 40(ish) hour battery life, extremely comfortable for long periods of play, also super hardy so has survived being knocked off my desk quite a few times. Highly recommend

Hear me out. You know how in KHUX the keyblades you have evolve and change appearance when they hit a certain level? KH3 literally missed out on the coolest thing that they could have done. It would have been so cool to have your keyblade evolve and change appearance when you level it up in the Moogle workshop. A huge missed opportunity from Square, especially with the Starlight keyblade. Also IGN made a video 4 days ago about KHFM. I haven't seen it yet but it would be cool if you could make a video about it!

I have a theroy on MoMs absence! My called shot is we are going to get KH 3.8 collection next year to hold us over until 2026 for kh4. It will have MoM final mixtape edition (with extra songs and plot relevant cutscenes and lore) RE: Dark Road a playable streamlined version of darkroad with less grind/gacha and more a fun 10 hour experience. Finally a HD collection of the entire Chi series fully voice acted (maybe 3d animated 👀)

3:49 I use my Switch Pro Controller on PC, I like the feel much better than the Xbox controller. On KH I have to change the prompts to the PS ones tho. Hopefully a mod comes that fixes it comes soon.

I literally finished my binge of the series the day before it released on Steam. I was playing the *Jack Sparrow Edition* , but I'm definitely buying them all on Steam just to support companies who care about the Steam Deck. Plus, with the full series bundle on Steam, it works out to about $12.5 per game after tax, not even including the movie stuff. An absolute steal.

switch wired controllers have a extra couple of back buttons that copy the function of 2 of the symbol buttons it feels nicer than you'd expect to have them used by fingers that dont normally get involved with games its so nice to use and i cant wait to see how kingdom hearts feels with it when i eventually get the steam version of kingdom hearts

@@Heyim18bro The in-game camera just randomly starts rotating... as if you have the joystick constantly held to one side. I've tried different controllers, and different versions of the game, and it eventually happens. Tried re-mapping buttons, works for about 5 minutes, then the camera begins rotating.

3:48 Switch con was the only controller I had for my PC for a while. It's certainly better than Xbox or PS'. I now have a SN30 Pro I use A lot of games only used the backwards ABXY layout on random ass Xbox, but I got an OLED Deck now. Heck even Switch games didn't have proper switch button UI in game. Octopath used Xbox buttons when I used SN30 Pro. Glad the ABXY wasn't forced backwards

Honestly, haven't had a problem. Spent 35+ hours on Kingdom Hearts 1 alone (Yes, I am that bad at the game. Lol) and both on my PC and Steam Deck, the only issue I had was the shadows on the ground acting all weird and glitchy now and then. Besides that, my experience so far has been perfect without any issues.

9:42 I've never had any issues either, but I've also never played the original versions - I've always played the Re:fixed / Re:fined versions, which fix a lot of those issues. I think CoM is the only one that didn't have any Re:fined version, so I played the original of that, and the difference was... Noticeable. Not unplayable by any means, but definitely a lot rougher

@@Heyim18bro I don't think you're getting what I'm talking about - I'm talking about the Re:Fined mod (really not so much of a mod as a direct replacement to the executable files of the games in the HD Remix Collections). The "mod" fixes stuff like the cutscenes being locked to 30fps and the games freezing when you try to close them and also adds much-needed QoL features like autosave. The mod isn't available for CoM though, unlike the other 4 legacy games in the series

KH3 never worked for me on EGS. Bought and downloaded it 4 times, always said files were missing from the launcher. Glad it’s on Steam now. Still crashes a lot, have been enjoying modding it but will probably stick to the PS4 version regardless.

With KH now being on Steam and Square saying they want to focus on making their games multi-platform, what do you think our odds are of getting the series on Switch these days? Maybe more pointless since we now have the games on Steamdeck, but personally I still like the idea of the series being on Switch. I’d like a portable physical copy of the games.

3:48 - as someone on the switch: It was never possible anyways. This game requires more than what the switch has so for now…they just gonna have to live with that til the switch 2 comes. And then…only then, we will finally play where it has said prompts Also as a hot take: PlayStation works enough for any console. The symbols would mean enough for what you can understand.

Personally I was happy they dropped it on Steam as I prefer to have all of my games in one platform, like the Final Fantasy remasters a Steam release means I'll never have any reason to buy these games anywhere ever again. I also had a blast playing through 1.5, haven't touched this series since the week BBS released on PSP. Playing KH3 on PC for the first time is going to be satisfying.

You can get it to run at 120fps, you just need to disable Vsync Actually, Vsync is the source of all the bugs and performance issues The only bug that is anoying is the audio saturation issue, it has no fix
