Eunkwang is one of the best vocalists in kpop and he was such a proud dad guiding Seungmin and Jongho to finish this masterpiece. BTOB is pronounced as /bee-too-bee/ with the meaning of "Born to Beat". They are called the ballad king which are well-known for their strong vocals

eunkwang (pronounced oohn-koo-wah-ng) is the main vocalist of btob (pronounced be-to-be which stands for Born to Beat) they've been around since 2012 and honestly i watched kingdom for them because ive loved kpop for a long time and i fell in love with ateez watching the show! btob's vocal line is extremely renowned in south korea it's their biggest strength but personally i love their rapline too it's just that their four vocalists are incredibly powerful! also fun fact: while they were preparing for this stage and chose renowned korean female soloist IU's song, eunkwang took charge in rearranging the song he spent 4 hours distributing the parts and helped coach jongho n seungmin on their verses! he really has a lot of experience and it shows!

Eunkuang is such an amazing artist. He's the líder of the group Btob (born to beat). Btob are well known for their insane vocals. Also they are the funniest group in kpop, they really don't care too much about idol image. Eunkwang guided these younger singers in this song. He also said Jongho will be a big star bc of his vocals. Honestly, i felt so proud having one of the most talented vocalist in kpop complimenting Jongho.

BTOB means born to beat, they are a group from the 2nd generation of kpop and they have amazing vocals. If you wanna check out the song "missing you" and "beautiful pain" (kingdom performance, they did a choir version, it's beautiful)

All Mayfly's stages are so amazing and this was especially such a beautiful performance - so simple yet breathtaking! I highly recommend you check out the other Mayfly teams stages: rappers from ATEEZ (only Hongjoong), BtoB and Straykids did stage with their own collab song "Playing with colours" and the lyrics as well as the stage is brilliant and then the dancers of these 3 groups (yes, Yeosang among them ;D ) did a dance cover of EXO's Wolf giving it their own feel, it's amazing too! What I really loved about these 3 collab stages is that despite being from 3 different groups they worked so well together like a proper team should, they had great teamwork which is probably why all of these stages were so great.

I loved this stage so much! Eunkwang was the best in how he really worked WITH the two younger men. He has been in the industry much longer so he could have tried to be in complete control of the situation but he really took every opinion and make it a great experience for everyone involved. There's not much I can say about Jongho because, well...what else can be said about his amazing vocals? I will never understand how his range can vary such while still being in complete control. And also- just because I haven't seen much about him, Seungmin really did amazing as well. I think he was comfortable enough to try something a little new/ different, with support from the other group members, and the outcome was incredible.

I just love that I got to hear comments on arrangement because obviously most ppl love this song. I love Eunkwang’s voice but I don’t expect ppl to rave abt him BUT Eunkwang sat in that chair, listened to both singer’s voice, taking that into account to highlight each one of them and to hear it being acknowledged is nice.

Man I love this stage so much. It was a bit of a stressful time watching Kingdom week by week because of the fan wars and controversies over Mnet sabotaging everyone but I loved the performances it gave us. This one is one of my favs!! So pretty ❤️

You should watch their “Rhythm ta The awakening of the summer” kingdom performance it’s amazing. Filled with amazing vocals, astonishing coreo, cool looking outfit and best part Yeosang is in it looking like a snack. Totally recommend

Pronouncing Eunkwang and Seungmin is difficult because English doesn't really have an equivalent vowel. I heard a Korean say once that the closest thing we have to eu 으 is the way we pronounce the vowel in the second syllable of button--kind of part eh/uh, part oo. Most English speakers pronounce it oo, though oo 우 is a separate sound in Korean (Seungmin 승민 vs Hongjoong 홍중).

this performance was not only epic but legendary epic. the best performance of the entire show. This was a collaboration form Kingdom legendary war reality competition show. on one of the rounds the 6 male k-pop groups had to become 2 teams. So the 2 teams consist of 3 k-pop groups and each team had to do 3 live stages and each live stage had a themed focus concept. One was for vocals, one for dance and one for rap. The teams had to decide who were going to be on each stage. Stray Kids, Ateez and BtoB's team was called MayFly. BtoB is an older groups since 2012 and there group is a more vocal type group. They are amazing but don't let that fool you they are also good at everything. Jongho from Ateez has one of the strongest vocals i have seen in a long time. He can hit them notes with a power punch but he is also amazing and softer tones. I hope you check out all of Mayfly performances. Wolf (dance) and Paint (rap)

This is my absolute favorite cover of this song. Eunkwang arranged the piece as a producer and he knew exactly what each of his Makena’s need to excel. I wish the lyrics were included. This is such a heartbreaking song from IU for some of her idol friends that took their life, it tells them no matter where they are she or the singer will be there for them. Dying is not the way out. Those who have never seen this performance are missing out big time. These three have successfully delivered not only amazing vocals but also the emotion and feeling of the song. I don't understand a word and never heard of the song before this performance, and yet I cry. Every. Single. Time. Not all singers are gifted with such tallent.
