I think you will find that the song was written for Henry the V of England and not Henry III of France who reigned towards the late part of the 16th Century. Yes the song was written around 1450 and it is a song of French resentment of Henry V and the English in general who conquered parts of France during the 100 years war and Henry was proclaimed king of France as well as of England. One point to make is that the song says that Henry died in Saint-Fiacre en Brie but in reality he died in Vincennes.

The Kingdom of France ended a first time in september 1792, not 1793.

@@KimJongUnDuTerTer92 843 is the Verdun Treaty, the born of the West Francia (and East Francia and Lotharingia). But we could also consider, on the base of law, that France born under Clovis reign.

It’s recorded in the manuscrit de Bayeux. This manuscript was compiled in the early 1500s and consists of over 100 songs composed in the late 1400s.
