I liked this continuation of the POTA films. The idea of the apes having bonds with eagles was pretty cool and also, Raka was my favorite character.

also point of note Mae did not need to save Soona from Lighting, she could have shot Proximus, she chose instead to shoot lighting before he could kill soona whom she knows Noah has feelings for i think that says something to the potential of her character.

Relax guys, there is a reason why their plan is to have 2 more trilogies with 5 movies left to make to complete the POTA saga.

How did y’all not notice the chimp that looked like Rocket if you play it back at 51:33 and when Noa was taken inside the ship that the apes were in the chimp that looked like Rocket appeared before appearing outside. They mislead a lot of people who saw the trailer

You guys really need to watch the OG movie from 1968. It’s a slow burn sometimes but very thought provoking. It’s set 1000’s of years in the future. There were around 5 original movies some of them are flash backs. The second movie is extremely weird and a little difficult to get through. But I feel like by the third movie, it’s back to being decent. But I think you guys would get a lot out of at least watching the first movie, even if not on the channel.

Guys, it’s seeing up the next movie to answer the questions we want, the original series was 4-5 movies long, and i think the idea is that they were building an entire saga like the original movies.

This movie really lived up to the reboot trilogy, while still being able to stand out on it's own. It set the stage for what we all know will come to pass between humans and apes. I thought Proximus Caesar was a great villain, too. Hope Wes Ball does a good job with the Legend of Zelda movie.

If you think about it Koba is right about not trusting humans, but was wrong in his way of doing things. The humans have constantly either acted like they knew that they were better than apes and wanted to stay on top, or did terrible things trying to get back on top again.

Personally this movie satisfied me, and any questions left unanswered only makes the film more intriguing and builds up the tension for the next one. I think we need more films that end like this, Marvel “cinema” has trained us all to feel entitled to constant answers. It’s detrimental to good storytelling. Take the cliffhanger of the original. Utterly brilliant. A huge revelation. What will Charlton Heston do next? Doesn’t matter. Not important. It’s about the journey, not the destination. Sure, there were sequels to the original, like there’ll probably be sequels to Kingdom, but those will be different stories, and they weren’t even planning on a sequel to the original. My point is this: If you think a film has to tie everything together at the end to be good…then the modern age has negatively warped your expectations in a way that limits what storytelling can be. Just my two cents.

You are correct, Proximus is using the name of Caesear as a title after Julius Caesar, every emperor or dictator of Rome would take the title of Caesear Proximus is doing this probably having learned it from Travelan , he is Proximus Ceaser.

I saw this in theaters and I was happy with how it’s still beautifully done but the story was boring for me , my family and I love the franchise going back to the very first one and so we thought it was weirdly done. But you know … I wish they just stopped after war. We didn’t need more
