It is decent but I remember reading there's 300 years between the last film and this one. That being said, the humans spending over 10 generations in a base would probably not look like that. I did like Proximus, but the way he was defeated was kinda hacky. It's not a bad start, if the next film can move it somewhere interesting. The effects alone make it worth seeing in Imax, they really killed it with the visuals. Story's a bit weak though.

My favorite part was when James Franco coerced the apes into performing explicit scenes with a banana.

Story was lacking pacing was like you said slow. Visuals were super good but overall boring. The fight scenes were sweet tho. Wont be revisiting this one anytime soon

I agree with literally everything you said on this one. It was very disappointing.
