The last “Apes” trilogy was without a doubt not only the sleeper trilogy of the last decade (2010’s) but also arguably its greatest. No one expected anything from the Apes movies at first, I feel they hardly promoted the first one with Franco when it came out, but it was surprisingly good, I remember going to see that in the theaters just by chance and was blown away by how good it was. That and the second ones are my favorite “Apes” films of all time, hands down, even over the original.

The elders did not tell us everything about this world......💥💥💥💥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@melchiel44133 ай бұрын
I've actually been saying something similar for years, something I even posted as a comment on Graham Hancock's website. It strikes me as impossible that we could go 200,000 years and then suddenly (I'm a creationist) create cities. If for some reason time on Earth has gone for longer than the Bible says then the only explanation for a lack of cities is a reversion of farmed crops into a feral state that will go totally unnoticed until we randomly find evidence of it in some plant as simple as a blade of grass. The buildings, made largely of perishable materials, are not the point. The point is that we've always had cities as the equivalent of the human hive.
@Wolfways3 ай бұрын
@@melchiel4413 Suddenly create cities? We didn't. We were nomadic until we learnt how to grow crops and that knowledge spread around the world through trade and conquest. Even then there were no cities but just small villages that grew due to having farmland to feed more people and eventually we could feed enough for a city. It was a hell of a long time before there were cities all over the world. Please stop believing holy books. They're full of lies.

@@Wolfways The supposedly pre-agricultural cities of the Middle East like Gobekli Tepe and various supposedly pre-agricultural sites throughout the rest of the world that are smaller seem to indicate that if we have enough surplus calories even hunter gatherers make megalithic structures and relatively large settlements. Let me give you one line of reasoning toward my point. According to traditional evolutionary science the grasses spread around the world at once within a short period. That would indicate that a series of crops that can feed massive numbers of massive herds of megafauna came into being (relatively) at once and increased global food supplies outside of forests and rainforests for creatures on the plains and in the bush of places like East Africa where we supposedly evolved. The megafauna, after supposedly co-existing with mankind for 200,000 years, then suddenly died off almost as if their food had disappeared. It is also notable that the Nilotic peoples and other peoples that live alongside tameable fauna in grassland and bush areas own massive herds of livestock which supplement their hunting activities. They may not build what you consider cities, but people in the exact same technological level built Catalhoyuk, and who knows what grasses at their full potential produced in terms of caloric surplus.
@MistrT43 ай бұрын
@@Wolfways Don't even bother with them, I have tried for decades and it's pointless. They always change their beliefs depending on how far science goes BUT they don't believe in 100% of the science. Only when it suits their narrative. Most of them believe the earth is flat. In their holy books they have different versions in which order God created man, woman and animals. That should be proof enough that it's all made up. But it's hard to let go when you've been indoctrinated and lied to so you go with the flow.

Terrible name, you could’ve just called it “Kingdom of the apes” and it still gets its point across whilst not being such a weirdly worded mouthful

True that’s a cleaner title

Right but they're keepin the tradition of the planet of the apes movie titles: Planet of the Apes Beneath the Planet of the Apes Escape from the Planet of the Apes Conquest of the Planet of the Apes Battle for the Planet of the Apes Rise of the Planet of the Apes Dawn of the Planet of the Apes War for the Planet of the Apes Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes

I think it's cause it's the planet of the apes franchise... The titles are usually blah blah blah planet of the apes

This year looks so promising. Every genre, whether it's drama, comedy, action, horror, thrillers etc... theres some real potential for 2024 to revive Big screen viewing. In the UK were losing cinemas due to many companies facing administration but hopefully people will start attending. This and Mad Max look absolutely stunning 😍

Most directors now: "I don't use any CG for MY film, my ideas are too good for that." PotA: "Apes real. Maybe live action human CG."
