Solid review, Derek! You already know that I haven't seen any of the films after the original. I know there are spoilers, but I just like the way you explain the movie.

Man, I really had a good time at the theater with this one. I'm happy to see where they take it. Love your idea on the futuristic path they could take.

Yeah, I was pleased as well. I haven’t been keeping track of the boxoffice, but I hope it’s making enough to keep making more. I really love this franchise.

I’m so glad you saw it Derek. I think my favorite of the trilogy is the last, War. Since we’re doing spoilers, Raka’s death was really sad, I think it should be expected but the audience really found him hilarious, and he introduced Noa to Caesar’s teaching. William H. Macy, it’s great to see him again in a big budget movie again. 6 movies? I hope they are well planned out.

Great review. Glad to hear you enjoyed it. I think they are defo leading to more wars. Is there one called “Conflict of the POTA “ ? I’d have to look. Can’t recall all the older titles. Do you think we will see the Icarus return at some point ? And rework that story from a different POV ?

I think we will see Icarus return. Which I really don’t want. That story has already been told. I’d rather see other stories. Stories of their deep future with technology beyond what we have now. No Conflict of the… yet. That would be a good upcoming title

@@PureHangout yeah you say like a future in the cartoon series. That would be good. I’m sure we will get the Icarus. It could work. Tell the at story from a different angle. Apes perspective. Doesn’t have to follow exactly what was done before
