Freya Allan's character May: her role was to infiltrate a group within which to solicit the help of members such as Noah - she'd been stalking and assessing him. Her aim was to gain access to the former military base Proximus was trying to break into. Why was she chosen for the mission? I guess she has the harmless looking charm to do it. Wasn't clear to me how Proximus knew of her (because his generals were pointedly trying to capture her.)

Yeah it felt like her character evolved according to plot conveniences and reveals rather than feeling like an organic evolution of the character

@@onepotmedia9766 There can be no such "organic evolution" when the story doesn't ask for it: Her role was to serve a function - as a spy with a mission. It's like the first time James Bond was revealed in Dr No - he didn't need "organic evolution", he just was.

@@onepotmedia9766 It wasn't a plot "convenience": it was the plot. We as the audience don't know what she is or who she serves until the end. If you knew from the beginning - just because you insist on "organic evolution of the character" the end reveal wouldn't have been as powerful.
