If you tap on the gold whilst the dragon is flying, you get some extra money!

Finally beat this level with 3 stars and no lives lost. My Strategy: Neglected top section and focused on the middle intersection and the roads to the goals from there with 2 Mechas, 2 Necromancers, 3+ Axe Throwers, 3+ Crossbow Forts, and 2 Barracks at the ends. Level up Axe Throwers all the way to weaken and cancel enemy effects, level up Crossbows' Falconer for added range, and level up Mechas' oil spill to slow them down. Level up towers as you go from there, and watch the place go apeshit.

if you click the gold near the dragon when it leaves you get GOID

HEY ALERT!!!! ALERT!!! WHEN THE DRAGON FLIES CLICK ON HIS GOLD U GET 100 GOLD PER CLICK WHEN HE FLIES FROM IT if u click on the gold area when the dragon is there u just piss him off and wake him up but he wont fly till when he is suppose to

You can tap on the gold when the dragon is gone to get roughly 100 gold

I have been stuck on this level for ages probably because I play on veteran but I finally got past it by watching this vid

He really likes crossbows

I found the tower choices to be rather unorthodox, going with mainly Crossbow Fronts. I found myself having no trouble using three Necromancer in the middle (forming a triangle) with Axethrowers beside them (because... reasons). And I put the Militia closest to the defend zone/point with Crossbow Fronts next to them. Lastly, I put a Bombard (Battle Mecha) where you put your Necromancer. The other tower spots were used for Archers and Mages, later selling them for Bombards (Battle Mechas). P.S. This was done by using the Vodoo Witch who was at level ten with all the upgrades. This is a suggestion for those struggling with this level.

Don't forget on this level when the dragon takes flight to burn ur towers, click on the treasure pile where the dragon sleeps and it gives 100 gold every time he takes off

As someone as I started watching this walkthrough I noticed that crossbow forts are Key.

I think you should use the Axe Throwers, I always have at least two of them. They can cancel the teleporting and the invis, in case you didn't know. Also the Totem of Weakness + Battle-Mecha = Total ownage!
