Fun fact: Only a couple days after I recorded two weeks of videos for this game - because, y'know, moving houses and all that - they released a major update that breaks current save games. So what you're seeing right now is NOT the latest patch and won't be for a while. Sorry! It happens sometimes!

Pravus you should try playing chess either on a stream or on a video its been growing like crazy and its very low maintenance so low stress and I personally would be super interested to see you play chess

I don't think it is a problem that pigs are free after all pigs eat literally everything so they probably just eat all the scrap food.

You need a place where grass naturally grows. Just south-east of his town center there is an area with lots of grass, which would be great for a pig farm. Try putting down a pig farm in the desert ;)

Pigs definitely eat scraps from human food, but that would make the farm really stinky, not a good idea tbh

Hemp has been cultivated for thousands of years for textiles, oil, and much more, it was very rarely used outside of rituals for "recreational" purposes until recently. It would make more sense for the devs to have cannabis as hemp, and have it as a industrial resource than a happiness/luxury resource.

Without the tech and any infrastructure? In Frostpunk the whole planet froze thank to decrease in solar activity, a meteorite impact and the subsequent volcanic activity .

If you liked this, you might like to try out Cliff Empire. It's a limited space city builder like Frostpunk, but with a very unique aesthetic that you'll need to see to understand, and some very interesting mechanics. It lends itself very well to long playthroughs. I believe it was developed by someone who's first language is not English, but everything I've come across makes sense and mistakes are infrequent.

To expand on the "running out of storage space" issue. Something super useful to do is to restrict your storages to specific goods so that you can guarantee that there is always at you never end up running into a situation where you don't have a particular thing and don't have room to put it into. The worst thing that can happen is having full storage with no room for wood and no room to store wood in to build more storage.

As much as I also hate card systems, it didn’t feel intrusive in this game and the other awesome parts like the economy far outweigh the negatives. I recommend.

Its a good game. Its is developed by a single developer who goes by the name of pun on discord. Kingdoms reborn has a good community on discord and it gives us to report bugs feedback and make suggestions for the game

I would really like a dedicated playthrough on a hard difficulty. You said yourself that the AI is a little derpy at the moment. I like difficult playthroughs personally over casual gameplay that we see the most on youtube or twitch.

I don't know, I seem to see a good mix of both. Larger youtubers tend to do casual stuff, but a broad variety of games, smaller ones tend to do easier stuff. You might want to check out lathland and Roll1D2 for difficult game content, as I know pravus is trying to go for more relaxed stuff for at least a while.

I could arrange that, probably when the game is a bit closer to release! Right now difficulty doesn't really seem to impact AI at all, it mostly increases your own citizen's consumption rate. So it definitely makes single-player a lot harder.

@@Santisima_TrinidadYes, thanks for the recommended. Usually you have to really search for those KZfaqrs or Twitch streamers that really like to punish themselves. As a watcher I appreciate that approach, but usually it's connected with a game ex (Xcom or Darkest Dungeon). Pravus is one of my favorite KZfaq let's players.

@@wiplash123987 no problem. Although, you have to be very good at the game to do it, and still make it engaging content. Mr streamer is doing a lot of hardcore rimworld, which is a hard game anyway, although he does casual rimworld and crusader kings as well. Lathrix just cranks everything up to max difficulty and still seems to curbstomp the AI. Even doing a RP heavy Starnet AI Stellaris playthrough at the moment. At 25times crisis difficulty. And he once did the impossible run, which if you've heard of it you'll know how insane that is.

Not really. AI is still fairly useless and loves to build storage spaces EVERYWHERE. That said, the game just got some big updates, so I think we'll be seeing a more competent AI soon.
