Thats a tough thing cause you guys are doing well in terms of views vs sub count, and I do not have much experience since I quit youtube years ago but looking at how youtube works rn its probably best to try and connect with other channels, and do some vids outside of games where discussing things like how each of you build your decks, tips and tricks, etc becoming a bit more personal with your audience. But its just suggestions idk much about what your group wants to do with the channel

@@KingdomsTV I agree. And unfortunately (I say unfortunately because it’s a cool name), but your channel name might have something to do with it. Since it doesn’t mention commander/edh or Magic at all, people might just gloss over it a lot?

Alesha is such a great commander, a real underdog deck

Its such a great commander because it can elevate small creatures that alone can have a hard time.

Budget Alesha seems like it could be a powerhouse still

@@KingdomsTV you're 100% right. The combo pieces are cheap. In my experience, the main difference between budget and cEDH is just speed (via tutors, dual lands, 0 cost mana rocks, etc). And Alesha gets better exponentially with speed.

I think all EDH strategies are fair game as long as you can communicate well with your play group. :)

Thats a hard part about most combat focuses infect decks is they can peter out pretty quick if they don't get kills or resources. I'm glad you are enjoying the games. They are fun to play and make!

Our new goal is every Tuesday and Friday mornings!

We want them to affect the game some, but not change it too much so it still feels like a regular edh game. I can see us doing no artifacts in the future. I doubt we'd do no creatures completely, but we did do no "mana dorks," for example.

So he had a number of kill spells like pongify, rapid hybridization. Bounce spells like Chain of vapor, vapor snag etc. We just thought he had something as he had many other times and he didnt!

Stax is a great option. Some games dome decks just don't get to shine. Its one of the pros and cons of our league that we try and play a variety of commanders. Sometimes we don't get back to a specific commander anytime soon.

She does seem like she is in it for the long game as many token producers. I know she can be pretty scary to play against the longer you leave her alone.

@@KingdomsTV yeah but the pace of the game shows she’ll never get the time shine. Making 2/1s looks weak when you’re staring down much bigger things most the time. I’m not sure how you would build her other than for a combo finish. Esper always contains control elements which doesn’t contribute to anything aggressive. Also, its easy to shut down by removing her and not running many creatures. Back to the drawing board.
