Peter is the king of collaborations. You should check out his collaboration with Anthony Vincent for "Friend Like Me Sung In Evey Music Style Ever". You would enjoy it, as would your son's.

Home state is WV. Moved to NC in the 70s. Our daughter used to call her Grandma "Mountain Momma"! Another gorgeous rendition. Chance reminds me of my brother who died in 2003!

I think Peter Hollens' 2018 version was before Home Free's 2019 version. On this one, it sounded like they used Peter's background tracks and just overlaid the new lead track with Peter and Adam.

Oh, and I forgot to add: What truly amazes me about this and Peter's 2018 version is just how much it really sounds like there is a band backing the vocals. There are a lot of a capella recordings where you sometimes get that "full band" feeling. But this one really stands out...even beyond a lot of the Pentatonix productions. (Side note: There is a version of Pentatonix's Hallelujah with The String Mob. I kept thinking I was losing my mind for hearing actual strings!)

Great reaction, Dennis! Good notes on the comparisons between the artists’ covers and voices! Yes! There was a whole lot going on to listen to without hearing it several times to catch it all. I love Geoff’s covers, and I love bass, but to be honest I couldn’t get into his cover of this one, for sone odd reason. I didn’t care for the bass version of it. I suppose I’m going to get flack for it. I have loved everything else Geoff has put out on KZfaq. I totally loved this collaboration!! I watched it on Peter’s channel.
