We CRASHED our rickshaw...

4 жыл бұрынIf you've watched last week's vlog, you'll know that while driving back through Wales we crashed our rickshaw. We left you on a pretty scary cliffhanger - not because it made good TV but because it was a bit too emotional to watch the footage back so soon. Sorry if we worried you or made you cry, but we are okay. We have some deep bruising and scratches but are super grateful that we lived to tell the tale with only minor injuries.

It has taken me days to know what to say or how to react. All I can tell you is this: you are loved. People around the world have watched this and cried for you. We are so grateful for your strength to pull through an accident like this with just some scrapes, bumps and bruises. Perhaps this accident prevented you from something worse downtheroad, so it may have been a blessing. Who knows? Just continue to feel the love and be kind to yourselves. 💕

SO scary. I know it is difficult to see something you love and made so many amazing memories with crumble. But remember, no matter what happens to Chapati, you still have the memories, the good times, the beauty she brought you. The two of you are walking away with your lives - I am so thankful for that. Craig, you are such a great support to Aimee. Your love and care is so obvious here. I love how you just kept telling her it was going to be ok. The truth is that it could have been incredibly worse. You still have your lives, your health, and each other. Moments like this (and you know this, because both of you have been through difficult times already) are an opportunity to seize your life in even greater ways, to live even more fully, to not take one second for granted. Life is a precious, mysterious gift. Sending care and thoughts of good health to you both.

It takes a special pair of people like yourselves to be as open and transparent in all the good and the bad!! Most of realize that traveling and as often as you do, and the other like you, that life on the road is not always sunshine and roses. You take the good with the bad. Gutted, again for the reckless drunk driver. Just sickens me to death. However, seeing Custard and the sheer pure smiles at the end, we all needed!! As i like to say "Enjoy the Ride, Have fun and Make Memories"!! Many more of those day's to come!!!

I cried through the whole thing, too. One of the things that makes this channel so watchable is that they are so lovely, so open, and so relatable. They take you along with them like a friend, so it's easy to feel empathy.

Oh guys i can't believe how unlucky you were for both the rickshaw and the car to be wrecked. I was in tears after the last video, and again watching this. I've followed you both from the very start and you're my favourite people ever. But you have some guardian angels. You are so so lucky you both got off so lightly. That roll bar saved your lives. I'm so glad you're ok. I've been thinking of you both non stop since the last video. If i was rich I'd send you all the money i could guys. I'm sorry I'm not. Aimee I DO know your pain...I fell and broke my left arm last year ...I hope you have seen a Dr just to double check all...my heart is SO with you...and your man loves you a million times more than you can imagine...Craig you are truly a remarkable guy! Aw, this is so sad to see you both in an accident, especially as you just got Chapatti back. So happy, though, that you both weren't seriously injured. Definitely battered, though. And Amy, about your wig, that was the first thing I said to myself, "The wig is still on!". So glad for that added protection.

I'm a recent subscriber working my way through the back catalogue, I'm so glad you both got through this with just bumps and scrapes, came out the other side and continue to boss it. It is sad but it was only metal which can be straightened again, as with Yazoo. Sometimes everything just has to all go skew wiff at the same time doesn't it. Amiee I hope this didn't knock your confidence driving, if people aren't happy with the speed you're happy travelling at sod them! you're in control of you, not them xx

It's amazing how concerned one can be for two people one has never met. You two darlings had me in a worrisome state. How grateful I am that you are recovering from bumps and bruises and not from what could have been the worst outcome. So glad you're both ok , i know how it feels had my first ever car crash in January on the m1 i hit a stationary car at 70 MPH somehow lived to tell the tale. The main and most important thing is you're both ok bruised bashed but will heal, sending love from Leicester.

Aimee and Craig I’m so glad you are both ok. I started watching you from the beginning of the Mongol Rally and have watched every video since (plus a lot of your older stuff). I was near to tears at the beginning of the vid but cracked up when Aimee said her wig stayed on. Your great sense of humour is what makes you guys unreal. Firstly, so glad your both ok with no lasting injuries; secondly, so glad you saw the best of humanity with the help offered by strangers after your accident; lastly, sad to here that it seems you got into the accident as you felt pressured to maintain a certain speed...as you always say R.Y.O.W. So glad the outcome was only bumps and bruises. As much as chapati means to you, she can be fixed or worst case replaced...people can't be. Drive safe. Love the honesty of the vlog.

So relieved you're both (and Chapati) OK. Its very distressing being in an accident. Definitely worth getting a comprehensive recovery cover. Around £50 will cover you guys for any vehicle including trailers and vehicles needing bigger recovery trucks than just for a car.

My mom and I flipped several times in my mom's SUV years ago and when either of us thinks back on it, it's still super emotional, because even though we were both fine, it's just such a scary and traumatic thing to experience! Glad you were both all right. As you said, it could have been MUCH worse.

I'm so glad you both came out of the rickshaw incident ok,dont beat yourself up about it aimee,accidents happen and theres nothing you can do. The rickshaw can be replaced if need be,you two cant. I'm in wales in a couple of weeks,I might see you both and custard around,you never know. Take care of each other. X
