After a pretty shaky start to the whole trip, we landed in Tangier by foot and van and headed straight for the wild - Marrakesh! مراكش Oh, what a city to explore! Medinas, palaces, mosques riads, incredible street food and hustlers.. it's truly great to be back in a city that feels SO alive!

Woohoo where we've decided we don't want another cold winter in the UK. Our mates @eamonandbec mentioned they'd be heading back to Morocco to pick up their van trinity and we couldn't think of a lovelier place to spend Christmas 🎄 We'll be meeting up with them in the new year to van life together around Morocco 🥳✌️

Hi guys I recommend you go check "kabana" it's a really nice restaurant/bar in the medina with a beautiful view. Also go spend some time at the " jardin majorelle" really worth it Enjoy your stay in morocco.

Taghazout is a really cool surf town near Agadir. On a day with no surf, our instructor at Surf Maroc took us to Paradise Valley. You walk through a jungle to crystal blue pools. There are caves and natural slides in the rocks between the pools. There was also a cute donkey wandering around in the jungle!

I watched Aemon and Bec earlier and it looks like you both did the exact trek as they did, right down to tent 31! Are you all going to meet up somewhere in Marrakech? I'm so happy that you;re going to spend 3 months there. It look AMAZING, AND, I've always LOVED their architecture!

They did get to meet up briefly I think (maybe we will get a video out of it, I saw from instagram stories) but Eamon and Bec are back in Canada for some health things they needed to take care of! They just had 6 weeks in Morocco.

Booth 31 is going to be the most famous stall in the Medina thanks to KZfaq. Aimee, the ring looks great on you. This market is a theater that is performed every day. Mainly intended for tourists. If you take a photo or video you can pay anyone who thinks it is on it and the number of pickpockets is large. I lived there for a while and after a few times I never went there again. There are much nicer places in town with even better food. It is a beautiful city with a lot to discover. Truly a country you must visit.

Beautiful video guys. Just wanted to say I used to live in Marrakesh and I know the main square can get pretty intense. It took me three tries to be able to walk calmly through it. A simple 'La Chokran" with a firm wave of your hand should get you out of any dicey situations. And as a tip, save your carpet buying for another place, I can recommend going into the Sahara, they only allow with tours, but the tours take you into smaller villages where you can see them being made. I think I bought mine for around 30 Euro. Make sure you have cash though :)

Make sure you don't book a Sahara tour from Marrakech. It's too far from there and too expensive. Get closer with custard first.

We got a rug in the Maddinah Decemer 2019, we paid 350Dhm for it I think. 100% wool, hand crafted like most of it is in Morocco, and really beautiful. It doesn't matter if it seems like a lot of money to the locals. What really matters is if you feel like you are happy to pay that price. If the shop owners make a decent cut out of it, good on them. If you're happy with your purchase, good on you!

Love seeing your parallel journeys through Morocco and look forward to when you reunite. Safe travels - hope you don’t have to replace all of Custard part by part. At min 18:13 and just wanted to say, Aimee, it’s okay to be fat. Fat is normal, gaining weight is normal. The body stretches and comes back, it has seasons, it travels, let yourself enjoy that delicious bread without having to go through any guilt or shame. You are not alone, I’m there too quite often, fatphobia is something we constantly reinforce without even thinking about it. Ok back to the vid!!

Grab some flat bread, harrisa, olives, and fruit from the market and make yourself a picnic. My favorite thing to do in Morocco. Enjoy! Excited to re-live my time there through you two.

A trek in Ourika Valley is worth a visit, you will pass shops on the way that sell rugs to the medinas. One shop we passed on way to Ourika Valley sells rugs & tapestries to Liberty of London. Fingers crossed they open their boarders again 🤞🏼

I traveled to Marrakech in 1993 and now time I found it somewhat improved. Anyway, I remember along with some friends I strength out my travel to Essaurya, beside Atlantic Ocean, it was a great experience. That town is famous for the handmade sculture in brier roots, you'll find even furniture made in that material. Let try it!

I was always thought when out and about in new or busy places have two wallets when you have a lot of cash. Have one in a front pocket of trousers or bag with a small amount of money and then hidden somewhere else the other money. When in someone private add some more money to visible wallet and only use this in public. Always makes me more comfortable when I am traveling somewhere new
