That is the reason why loudspeaker housings have to be calculated so that not every x random larry can come running to build a loudspeaker that just sounds garbage. in spite of all that, respect for work

Loudspeaker box needs to be calculated? Come on.. You just need to have pen and paper to draw box that you like, you must have tools and materials to build it, and few speakers to make some noise. Amp? Anything that can produce that noise. I forgot Bluetooth, sorry. You first put speakers inside, after that you make new holes and use sand papers. Speakers work better if you fill them up with tiny wood particles and dust. Really, calculations? Who needs those, come on??? PS I hope I was not over-sarcastic.. Sorry..

Yep I’ve wasted tons of wood when young. Now I’ve made a series of medium builds with actual plans using the same components. One of them just sounds. The other sounds amazing.

@prota gonist: Thanks mate… glad I’m not the only one to question this build. 😅😅 I mean, a front loaded bass horn with about 20cm horn length?!? And additional passive radiator on the back?? I thought: wow… whether he is a total genius and I don’t get the concept and/or calculations this is based on. Or: the builder doesn’t have a clue what he is actually doing. Also, i guess, the fullrange part (front speakers) will only produce giant exaggerations and deeeeeep valleys of deletions, but nothing close to a good sound.

Nice going, next time around, paint all the wood your favorite color, use wooden plugs instead of screws and paint the grills, then sell these units for $500 plus. People will appreciate the hours it takes to build them plus the actual hardware. Good job, sir.

Cặp onkyo không phải loa toàn dải nên cần phải có mạch phân tần và 2 củ trép nữa mới hay tí tách. Củ sub của loa Apple công suất khá nhỏ nên dùng 2 củ đấu // nghe phê hơn. Làm kiểu sub hầm này âm bass được cái rất sâu nhưng không lớn

Quite dont know what's the point of such complicated enclosure, where subwoofer part has very low volume and sat speakers are sunk, which quite destroys sound from mid to top highs and have complicated back end which doesnt help to enhace bass at all, because it is short..
