You should check out that movie as well on your own time. It shows Elvis' return to live shows after almost 9 years of making 3 movies a year. There's personal, rehearsal and live show footage throughout.

Anything from his 1970 Vegas shows is absolute gold. Actually, you could say any live Elvis performances between 1968 and 1973 is as good as there is. Lovely reaction, man.

One thing about Elvis is that he makes you feel the song like no other performer. So while the original versional by "The Righteous Brothers" is excellent, Elvis is better able to take us on an emotional journey through the lyrics.

The only part I don't like is when he's being a smart ass about his tight suit because it ruins the slow buildup and seriousness but other than that I love it and of course he sounds great and looks great! I grew up with the Righteous Brothers version but I like this more gritty, guttier definatly 70s feel of a version if he would have just let the smart ass comment go but I'll forgive him he's too damn charming to be irritated with❤!
