I was in their concert in the absolutely packed o2 arena in London this weekend and man oh man I love this band....my wife asked me why they dont put on a show like some more popular bands out there and my answer was: Simply because they play great music. This is prob my favourite song of KOL...It feels like it just could go on and never end that rif and you never get bored of it... I bought their Aha Shake Heartbreak totally accidentally looking for something new and fresh to listen to. It was 2004 October and they just released it and I listened in the shop a few songs and was like "whatta??!!!" I have never heard anything like it and fell in love straight away...It marked a new beginning for me in my life as I ended my long time relationship and started my new life from the beginning again...KOL never left me since. They are one of MY bands that I claim to myself.

This song continues to hypnotize me. I love the Johnny Cash rhythm throughout and the steady drum beat - I just feel the anger and anxiety of the persons driving off in confident defiance of their situation. This version with the harmonizing just blew me away!

This is a hypnotic emotion inducing song like no other. I feel like people who are fans of Kings of Leon have a certain take on life and a need and want to be taken on this controlled exciting whilst still calm and poetic journey with each of their songs, just incredible.

The Outlaws tv show got me here. Great song. Not the first time this band put out a winner. I totally love sex is on fire too. What I like is the rough grit when he expresses the emotional parts and the dynamics back to the verses start over building it back up. You feel his emotion and that is a quality I like in great vocals. The rhythm laying down the foundation is up front and the ambient guitar crying out those three notes over it all just a brilliantly composed piece of music, well imho
