After a total of thirty five hours or so of scouring game files, gathering footage, and of course, editing. I humbly present 'KINGS', a fan Project Wingman Cinematic.
Apologies for lack of usual content, as well as the unfortunate errors I missed in post. I am currently unable to use my microphone due to moving concerns (College). I truly hope you've enjoyed this little, imperfect passion project of mine. I deeply apologies for the poor sync between audio and music. Unfortunately, I was working with Bluetooth, which led to an ugly delay between the two. I will be sure to work via wire from now on.
A special thank you to those at HumbleGames for creating what has quickly become my favorite game of all time, as well as Jose Pavli, who inspired me with their works to create one of my own.

yknow, while crimson 1 is often regarded as another ace combat villain with a stupid motivation, i personally see him as just vengeful, you take away his glory, his friends and partners, his status, and eventually his life, he hates you so much that he's willing to nuke his homeland and kill millions of his people just for vengeance, and in the final fight, some of his lines sound like he's frustrated with how much he's given while still not being able to kill you, and i think he blames you for ''making him do all this'' because he believes Cascadia would be better off as a part of the federation, and maybe just coping for doing all that and you STILL surviving it

Considering he is set up like the “main character” of the federation it sort of makes since. He was everything, the ace, leader of the crimson squadron, poster boy of the federation. Then Monarch came along.

I'd say so. I have been hoping to get back into Armored Core 6, as well as it's multiplayer. Though, it's rather overwhelming. Still, both these titles have incredible visuals.

@@Neolith_ AC6's multiplayer is fun but it is mostly dominated by tanks and rats on higher ranks. Also not to forget FromSoft's horrible netcode will make you wanna quit the game lol It is fun regardless but i really hope FS balances it and improves the netcode

1.) Nowhere near perfect. Though your words mean much to me. 2.) To an extent, sure. I could see how one may think that. Though, in reality, they are ravings of a madman so battered by loss he's taken such measures simply to be able to 'best' Monarch. 3.) If you're referring to Prez, I fly single seaters for a reason.

I'm not gonna lie, I always wished the game would've ended with you and Crimson-1 shooting each other down. And a final conversation between the two as one heads toward the ground, the other to the sky. Crimson, falling toward the blood red earth. Monarch, flying free, approaching his death in the great blue.

⁠⁠⁠⁠@@Neolith_eh, I agree with the sentiment of the devs, it would have felt absurdly anti-climactic, and I think it fits better that their planes got disabled rather than destroyed given their piloting skills (not on the level or Monarch or Crimson 1, but certainly enough to survive his barrage). Plus the idea of ground hostilities continuing after that is kind of absurd, everyone would really just be fighting to survive at that point.

The only thing this needs are the dialogues in the credits when you beat the game on wingman difficulty. Just crimson voice gets grating so it would be cool if it was there to break it up. Like the one guy saying "The sky is on fire...."

bro made a full on trailer for PW and it's so much better than the actual thing. it highlights the graphics, the player, the main antagonist, and the gameplay. not only that, but they put in different missions from the campaign and highlighted prospero's AND presidia's destruction as a consequence of using cordium as a weapon. absolute masterpiece.

The Federation/Peacekeepers failed Crimson 1 very utterly at the moment of truth (the Cordium bombing of Prospero and ensuing Second Calamity), but Crimson 1 has invested too much into the Federations' professed ideology to come out with any rational conclusion.

project wingman was my first experience in flight combat games, This game is such a work of art in every aspect. Incredible work in bringing out the raw emotion from the boss fight with crimson. (also badass moves dodging the railgun shots like that)

Thanks for your feedback. Regarding the objective, while I considered doing something similar, I wanted things to feel as disconnected as possible. Thus, I merely redid the game's intro in my own style. I appreciate it regardless. Hopefully my next works hold up.

@@rasheedrasshan2335 As you can see within this short film, while I had genuinely considered going for a canonically accurate recreation, I ultimately decided on recreating my initial experience with the game. As much I adore the FD-14, as well as Prez, it would have made recording/editing a bit less cleanly. Though, I will absolutely consider including Prez within a 'Showdown' themed recreation. @@Neolith_ Given how Project ACES keep tossing out needless DLC right and left, instead of fixing the real problems in Ace Combat 7, I presume they’re short in money therefore badly in need of cash-in to prevent going bankrupt. But since Project Wingman and Raiders Sphere 3rd/4th have proved we fans can take care ourselves way better, we actually don’t need Project ACES anymore. If Project ACES do goes bankrupt, I’ll just shrug and go back to continue enjoying Project Wingman and Raiders Sphere 3rd/4th.

How did you even find the voice files?

.OGG formatted throughout the game engine files, under folders M18 and M21. Reformatted as MP3s with some third party software. Files were initially extracted with the use of Unreal Tournament Quick BMS. Unreal version 4.24 (I believe?). It has been some time since I, well, had the time to do this.

It's simple. though, the game does not tell you. Assuming you play on controller, hold down the 'switch target' button. The game will do the rest.

Quite pretty, but it drags and a lot of the shots feel repetitive by the 4th minute or so. There's only so much of "F-22 looking cool through that dogfight" you can look at before it just all blends in and it starts to be a chore. Would have benefited from being shorter.

Your critisim is appreciated. I never did create this with the idea of it having this many eyes on it. I am of course self taught, and this is my first attempt at a more cinematic edit. I noticed what you spoke of regarding the shots with the F-22A, and thus, attempted to add a bit more to change things throughout. As much as having been shorter may have aided this, I did not want to shorten any amount of the OST. Thank you again.

@@Neolith_ It looks quite good when it does though at least. But there's only so much you can do before most of your shots will be the same given the subject material. One of the more complex missions would have been good for something this length, since then you could at least show different mission phases.

The only thing I could suggest as an improvement would be if you had used Monarch’s skin in the UF-22, so we would be seeing his symbol instead of a tail number
