この大会が初めての会場でのプロレス観戦で、30年経った今でもよく覚えていますが、特にメインのお二人の激闘は凄まじく、「今後も会場へ行って観戦しよう！」と思いました。

You need to watch all the single matches between Stan Hansen and Toshiaki Kawada. Their match will be more exciting, and soon it will be the best main event in AJPW at the time, attracting over 10,000 spectators by itself. This match is just the beginning for them.

The fun part about Stan Hansen matches is that you can’t ever really tell which moves are receipts so every move looks like a receipt.

これテレビでみたなー！　I don't know his history. （試合後川田がどうなっちまうかは分からんぜ！）とハンセンが激オコしていた時代ですねｗ　川田や小橋の成長とピークを過ぎたハンセンの衰え。全日は最高に楽しかったね。

ファンをブルロープでバンバンひっぱたいて、、、。中には怒った人もいたでしょうが大半の人は友達に興奮気味に自慢していた。　アンドレをボディスラムで投げたパワー　ヘビー級なのにダイナマイトキッドみたいなスピード　ブルーノ　サンマルチノの首の骨を折ったと言われる必殺ラリアット常に闘志　剥き出しのファイト！　ヒールで通してるくせにさ　時折　泣いたりして。　　　誰かれかまわずラリアットでマットに沈めてさ。カッコいいたらないね。

この試合の、一年前の、チャンピオンカーニバルを初めて父親と、観に行きました。ちょうど中学生1年生になる前です。試合は、セミファイナルの、ジャンボ鶴田対川田利明戦でした。良く覚えています。もう30年も、前に成りますが。

I have been watching wrestling my whole life and I actually don’t know how people can wrestle like this. Both physically and mentally. I don’t know why it looks so real and how the can do this without breaking bones in every match. I guess it helps to be huge and have some fat over your muscle but still. And the whole thing looks like a fight without being shoot style at all. Walter and Dragunov are two of the only guys today who can still do this stuff

This isn’t spots or flair vs steamboat or ‘choreographed’. This is a violent sport with a predetermined outcome and an actual physical battle between the bell and that outcome. This is the opposite of AEW and modern style in general

A lot of that, I think, comes from the newer generation trying to break away from tradition, and trying to impress the crowd by no selling moves that traditionally have put people down. As is always the case, though, when you break away enough from tradition, it becomes its own tradition, and thus becomes what they've been trying to escape. Innovation comes from making clean breaks from what's been established, and, in my view, to find their own sense of identity, the new generation has to learn to break away from their own traditions, as well, from time to time, otherwise it'll be just as tired and old as what they deem tired and old

何故ハンセンが先にコールされてるのか未だにわからない。三冠王者だし、格も当時はハンセンのが上なのに… ハンセンは特に川田や小橋の様な直線的に向かってくる相手には潰す感じでやるから見ていて楽しいし激しい試合になると思う😊 この２人の三冠戦ベストバウトになったのも頷ける😄
