You are So inspirational and yes I agree enjoy your hair routine it should never be a bother. I’m in the fall season of my life and I have had this hair for over 50 years. When I do my hair routine I put on some gospel or jazz music and it takes NO time and I’m done.... I’m learning even at my age to enjoy my natural hair. Stay with it .....it’s worth all the work. You know you have succeeded when people compliment you on your crown 👑 Keep inspiring us my sister 👍🏾🙏🏾

I love your encouraging words! I also find coiling my hair relaxing but I have to be in the right mood because it can take hours. Sometimes it comes out perfect and other times not so much but like you said, I rock it either way. It never comes out the same way twice and that's something that I had to accept. 😊

I love your hair. When I wash and go and my hair just curls up with its natural curls after applying my leave conditioner/ curl activator. I must say when my sister saw this, you know what she said ‘you have tough hair’, this my sis saying this. I was hurt. For loving my own natural hair, sometimes our own hates on us for loving ourselves for who we are. Ps. Thanks for the encouraging words and Great tip. Loving it 🙏❤️👍

It’s been year since I’ve used them but I’m glad I did! Also keep going I’ve been there, and I’m still learning, you will have challenges but I encourage you to stay at it, your hair journey is beautiful because it’s your journey, don’t compare yourself to anyone else your curls are flawless, don’t give up! ♥️

Don’t give up some times it’s the method that you haven’t perfected...our hair products are so touch and go. I wish we had a machine that could tell us this is best. Even stylists have to guess but that’s why we are so unique in many ways.. God bless

Love your videos and your hair. I just got mine cut a week ago similar to yours and I’m trying to figure out my regimen and products to use. What I have learned is how to finger coil because of your videos because If I don’t finger coil it will look dry and a little curled, but coiling it really defines it. Now I have to figure out how to make my roots to not be frizzy in the front, obviously my texture is different so I’m thinking I need more gel and smooth it. Thanks for sharing

Hi Kay I’ve been watching your videos for a little over a year. I did a big chop. It has grown a lot since then. You are such an inspiration. I always love your hair. I followed a lot people just trying to pick up tips. I narrowed it down to you because I always like what you do to your hair and how it comes out. Nobody could have told me I would be on this natural hair journey. I can’t say it’s all been fun LOL . One pressing question I always have is, what do to your hair at night if it’s not twisted are you picked out and you are wearing your the same the next day. Do you Tie it up with scarf? Please tell me how to take care of it?

Hello,I love your hair..the coils are beautiful. I wanted to know how long did it take to get your hair to coils the way it does. I have been natural for over a year, but I can't get my top to coils or curl without padding it down to get a little curl.I know that everyone has their own curl pattern. That's hard for me because I see so many woman with nice beautiful curls.I'm trying but it gets hard at time to be patience.

I used the jelly according to the directions, but it left lots of white, flaky residue. The curls were well-defined, but they were kinda crunchy….. and my cut and texture is very close to yours.

I use a sponge, but my hair is getting longer on the top. I have to break apart and finger coil, because sponge is making the sections too big. I’ll try these products again. I did the last time I was natural, but my hair was not in a tapered cut.

If I had put oil on my coils the day after and run my fingers through I end up with FRIZZ... MY top is always as it was the night b4 but the back the next day looks like nothing was done the day b4....nothing I do makes my hair not need a COMPLETE re-do the NEXT DAY...so aggravating and time consuming

I had that problem too. What I do now is put my hair in 4 large twists or 4 loose ponytails before going to sleep. Helps out a bit.

It’s from their Gold collection. I used it before realizing she uses it. It gives the hair a nice shiny coating without being heavy. Great smell too!!
