Hey Frenzzz!
Although this palette was already reviewed by several creators, I thought to still chime in with my thoughts. It’s not my favorite face palette from ND, but it’s pretty. What would bump up its value for me is if the blush shade was warmer. Or dare I say more violet? I think that would’ve been more interesting.

I agree that this palette (especially the blush) is catered to someone like me, very fair and cool toned skin, but the shadows do look lovely on you. I have to wonder if the blush choice is because that Dior blush went so viral and is still highly sought after so she felt she ought to put out her own take on that kind of shade.

I don’t own either of the other two ND face palettes because I really love cool tones on my fair skin, so when I saw this palette, I was immediately drawn to it. The reviews on this palette have been mostly negative. I really appreciate honest reviews. Your honesty is refreshing because even though this palette isn’t up your street, you are still fair and balanced. If I decide to buy it, I will wait until the upcoming Sephora sale.

Thank you for that! I try to remove myself out of the equation, and know that even if it doesn’t work for me it might work for someone else. If the cream blush was more fuchsia, I would’ve been all over it. But I understand some fair skin types like that cool toned hue.

Your looks are beautiful! That said, I did decide to pass on this one. I felt pretty certain that the blush would not work on my medium deep complexion. Now that I have seen your review, I am confident it would not have worked. I love Natasha Denona eyeshadow, and I also love pinks and purples, but I will shop my stash to create similar looks. Great job (as always)!

Love the sparkly eye look! Those with a cool olive undertone (tan or lighter skin tone) might love the blush shade.

Before even watching the video; I needed to pause it to say this ... WE ARE NEVER BORED OF YOU 😅😍 sorry for yelling and in regards to this palette; after it was leaked and sold early again I saw it & immediately thought ... oh no this is an easy pass for me ! 😅 its just "too pink" and I'm all "pinked out" and after getting her retro glam palette (which I almost passed on due to it being kinda pink) I knew this wasn't for me ...alas you can't please everyone and I'm ok with that too as I think this particular color story was geared towards lighter skin tones ...but I'm happy many did like and get it; I'm still not interested in this palette but I'm here to support !! ❤❤❤💕🥰 now back to the video 😅

I appreciate your honesty. I wasn't remotely interested in this palette. I find myself having to make a concerted and intentional effort to use the plethora of ND palettes I already own, likely because as you noted her shades don't always cater well to those on the deeper end of the complexion spectrum.

I couldn’t have been more bored when I saw this palette come out. But every review I’ve seen convinced me more and more that I wanted it. All of the ways that the majority of creators I watch hated the blush, cool toned, sheer, milky white base, are all of the things that suit me best! I just got mine in the mail today from Sephora and it’s a jackpot. Probably the most flattering blush I own alone with Persona Bubbles. I think you’re right about this blush being most flattering on fair tone complexions. Stacy Chen looked amazing in it too.

Everywhere I have read the description about the shadows, it says 1 light metallic pink and 1 shimmering pink, and on the photos it is very clear that it is the matte formula as in your palette.

Thanks so much for ur honest review. I have this sitting in my Sephora cart and was having trouble pulling the trigger. I’m a pale skinned girl with a cool undertone and blonde hair. I thought that pink blush would work for me but now I’m not sure. The eyeshadows are pretty but it’s a lot of money for five shadows. I think I may spend the money on something else I’ll get more use out of. Thanks again friennnnnnd. ❤❤❤❤

Your right eye (my left) looked beautiful! I wonder if you could use that rosey shade for blush instead of the pale pink? Powder is powder (unless there's shimmer in it) and it might be a lovely nude shade on your cheeks!

This is true! And I’ll definitely try that, and will keep you updated. If the cream blush was more fuchsia, I think that would’ve been pretty. However, I understand that this shade is very much loved by fair complexions. I would love to see a Retro Face Palette with maybe a wine toned blush? That’s not quite the same as what’s in the Bloom palette.

I wonder why this palette was not ready for Valentines…I guess it could be a spring palette. Am seeing a lot of these cool pink blushes…I have neutral to cool skin undertone and these are still hard to pull off. Thank you for your thoughtful review

Yeah, it will be interesting 😅 Someone suggested using one of the shadows for blush. Although a little tricky, it could help adjust the white base.

Awesome video. Did you notice if the pans are magnetic? That’s the thing about it that attracts me. I can swap out the blush & eyeshadow, and create my own perfect face palette!

I think I am on one of the few people who don't have the other love palettes. I did end up buying this one despite everyone's reviews simply because there are times when I prefer barely there blush so it doesn't compete with my eye look. That being said, thank you for this review. I love the look you created with this palette and I think it's going to work well for me since I got it for evenings out and we have a similar skin tone.

Do you have cool undertones to your complexion? I’ve seen this blush look god awful on a lot of people, but amazing on a few really fair tones girls. I wonder if the coolness or the depth of color (and white pigment) that clashes with some skin tones.

@@warmywithcold I have a neutral undertone, so I flip back and forth between warm and cool tones depending on the occasion. I do think that the coolness would definitely clash with warm skin tones, especially with the white pigment in the pink. I also think this is one of those colors where a hint of color will do, which works great when you have a dramatic eye look that you want to showcase.

Yes. That lipstick is very pretty with all the pink. I skipped on the face palette for similar reasons as you. I was only curious about the blush due to that color being super on trend.

I think the blush looked pretty good with the first very light layer. I ordered it because the eyeshadow colors are just so gorgeous. That shimmer shade! I hope the blush looks good on me but it doesn't look good on most from what I've seen. I'm light neutral so there's a little hope. The description saying there should've been a metallic is news to me. You're the first I've seen catch that!

I like that you can pop out the colors this time. I knew the blush wouldn't work on me and I'm about your complexion. The Glam face palate I wish I could pop out the colors and mix, because I was somewhere in between.

I just got this palette (haven't used it yet) and I immediately came to see your review on it. I'm medium warm skintone, I do love pinks but I love neutrals too. I'm hoping I'll like this palette. I have the Glam Dark palette and I liked it and was actually excited for this release, I hope I'll like it. How do these shades compare to the mini love 5 pan palette?

Hi Alicia, I enjoyed watching this video, I have this palette, the blush on me works so nicely,because I have a lot of red on my cheeks( like rosacea) and this shade of cool pink blush appears neutralised the redness, I know it’s not popular but on me it works, like you I’m confused with the “ Juliet shade “was it suppose to be metallic???or matte??? Because we got matte ( bummer) , metallic would have been so impactful in this colour selection. Love Katherine

I have the love face palette and despite the blush that too light for me I’m enjoying it. Yes I have the glam face palette the hourglass and Dior. I really like the eyeshadows I guess I really like pink because I have the love palette and unlike the majority I enjoy that too. 🤷‍♀️

I love this type palette for travel and getting ready quickly. I own both of the glam palettes, the last 2 CT instant look in a palette and the past 2 years Dior holiday face palettes. Love them all. Can get different looks from daytime to night. Was so excited about this palette when I heard about it but it’s a complete fail for me. Would love to see someone do a 5 day challenge and actually come up with 5 different looks because every look I see is still overwhelmingly pink. Would like a CT instant look in a palette in pillow talk something that would look classy and not so trendy that it will be out by the fall. Yes giddy is also my favorite and I like affinity but Esme killed it for me. I wear pink and purple a lot but Esme just screams look at me to the point that there is no way I could get away with taking just this palette away for a long weekend. Hopefully the next one she comes out with will be better

I got this face/eye palette and am not mad at it! The cool blush actually looks pretty on my pale, fair, freckled, cool-toned skin but why can’t she make light and darker versions for every.single.release. I also love pinks & purples-which should be considered when deciding to purchase this palette or not! Also, there’s something about ND’s face palettes like the face quads like Bloom or Love collection-to the “My Dream” face trio….but I can’t bring myself to get rid of any of them, no matter how much makeup I own!! 😅😅

I am very fair (NW10-NW13 in Mac) and quite neutral, and while this palette works for me, I don’t think it would work for people much deeper or warmer than me. So it’s very limited. It would have been good if there had been two iterations of the palette, one more catered for warmer and/or deeper ski tones.

I don’t understand this palette, the blush has my name written all over it, I’m super pale and cool toned, but that highlight would be way too dark and warm toned. I can’t wear pinks on the eye without looking ill so it’s a definite no from me but I do like the blush colour, just not enough to buy a whole palette for it.

Its lovely, but it isn't something that I am drawn to. I do enjoy the last ND face and eye palette and this one doesn't light me up more than that one. I'm just not a pink person.
