"I just want Vegas". The most relateable thing I've ever heard you say. I love how much you love Vegas. How your love for him intensified over the course of the season. Same happened for me. By ep 9 he was my favorite but it was a casual "oh I really dig this character". By ep 12 I was so invested. By ep 14 I was ready to put him on my all time favorite list. And VegasPete? They hit me right in the heart too. They got me emotional every single time.

This might just be my most favorite reaction to the finale solely because you went through the same exact emotions I went through the whole hour and 20 minutes😂

I have NEVER seen you react like this…You’re usually somewhat stoic. I think a LOT of us feel the same way re KinnPorsche and VegasPete…It’s almost like two series in one. While KinnPorsche was great in itself, nothing compared to VegasPete, which just grabs your heart…Why? I think so much has to do with their acting, especially Bible, who is beyond incredible. This is not just a BL…it’s just a great drama period. I have watched EVERY reaction from ep 11-14 and I always skip over everything that isn’t VegasPete. Once you become addicted to them, the rest just doesn’t matter. And, your reaction to this episode says all of that.

I was so anxious for you to watch this episode, and rightfully so. I didn't cry when Vegas "died" my stomach just dropped, and I felt physically ill pretty much the rest of the episode. Believe it or not it seems they made the scene slightly less tragic than they originally were, because in the behind the scenes footage there is like a full extra minute of Pete sobbing over Vegas's body. If they had left that in I would 100% have been reduced to a sobbing blob. Anyway as for my theories. I am 100% convinced Korn is the real evil mastermind here. He has this caring aura that he uses to get people to trust him so he can easily manipulate them. You can see when Porsche is trying to remember what happened and is saying "that's not true" over and over, that Korn acts all concerned, but at the same time he is saying "maybe you just remembered it wrong, you were just a child" to get Porsche to doubt his own memories. Appointing Porsche as head of the minor family I believe was also a ploy to keep Porsche close and in his control. I also believe he is keeping Porsche and Chat close so he can threaten their mother. Nampeung grew up with Korn and Kan, and I bet she knows way more than Korn would like her too, hence why she has been locked away all these years. You mentioned the beta fish in the podcast, and if you look at Korn's desk after Tankun sends him the picture, there they are again, however one is missing this time. The first time we see the fish there are two male beta's, probably representing Korn and Kan, and one female, probably representing Nampeung. When they are shown this episode after Korn shoots Kan, there is now only one make fish and one female fish. As for whom told the truth, about the events leading to Porsche's father being shot, I think both of them were telling partial truths to make themselves look like the good guy, but I believe Kan's story is closest to the truth. The last line Korn says "history is only written by the victors" is a quote from Winston Churchill, who was quite the jerk himself. There isn't a confirmed season two yet, but many of the actors extend their contracts, so we will most likely be getting one. I don't know if you have heard, but Be On Cloud will be releasing a period drama staring Mile and Apo next year! They dropped a teaser for it on their KZfaq channel. Bible and Build have also said they would like to do a drama where one of them plays a detective, and the other plays a serial killer, so that could potentially be in the cards too👀.

I literally cried for half an hour after Vegas was shot even though I knew that he was not going to die. I couldn't concentrate on anything that happening afterward until I heard that he was alive for sure. And I understand, I like Kinn and Porsche but I just didn't care about them at all after what happened - I just wanted to see Vegas and Pete. Vegas deserves to be the next minor family leader but Korn is a crazy psychopath. It's a smart move to give the leadership to Porsche cause now he can control Kinn and vice versa. There's a new VegasPete book coming out and I'm sure that Vegas would get the family ring in the end.

because i read the novel beforehand, i knew Vegas was not going to die so it didn't upset me really but if i hadn't read the novel and saw him getting shot like this i would be sobbing on the floor so

Korn was lying the whole time. I know you saw that Porsche's vision of what happened matches Gun's version more than Korn's version of the story (although Gun's version isn't completely true because I'm 95% sure he forced himself on Porsche's mother at some point). Idk if you noticed but just in case the same outfits that Kinn was wearing during the meeting is the same one he is wearing during the shoot-out. Meaning there was no respite for him to go and get ready for this invasion and we also know that Gun/Kan had people on the inside so the lack of prep from the main family was not surprising at all and kinda made sense because also Korn wanted it that way. This was his plan to conduct a cleanse as well. This man has been planning something similar since the first episode Korn was planning to make Porsche the head of the minor family from Jump. if you remember in ep 1 he was calling Porsche the last piece of his chess game (the queen to be exact). Korn knew his brother Gun was screwing him over from the beginning and that Gun was the reason stuff was going to hell for the main family and he knew he had to get rid of him but He couldn't just kill him for no reason and he couldn't kill him before he found someone to replace Gun and that wasn't about to be Vegas cuz we all know Vegas don't mix with Korn or anyone from the main family. That's why Korn Brought Porsche into the mafia. He needed to groom Porsche to take over so he made sure that Porsche would be able to follow Kinn around and learn the business as his bodyguard and that is also why he handed Porsche the head bodyguard position from the Jump. That is also why he insisted that Porsche go with vegas to resolve the gang issue in ep 7, because like I said he wanted Porsche to learn and take part in the business and familiarize himself with it. That also explains why he was so set on keeping Porsche happy with him and tried so hard to keep Porsche's trust but as you can see shit hit the fan and he had to change the story so many times. He may not have been able to predict that Kinn and Porsche would fall in love with each other. And it is obvious that he was against it at first (because he knows feelings make Kinn weak) but once he figured out how to use it to his benefit, he adjusted the plan to fit into his original vision. And It became easier for him in a way, and that explains why he decided to accept their relationship so easily and also why he gave Kinn permission to go after Porsche in ep 12 when he first finds out about his parent's car crash being covered up. He needed Kinn to be as close to and as trusted by Porsche as possible and the more in love and together they were the more he could also use Kinn to make Porsche move how he wants him. Idk If you noticed in that scene but even as he appoints Porsche as the head of the minor family, he doesn't hand him the ring directly, he gives it to Kinn who then offers it to Porsche, insuring himself that Porsche would take it. He hides behind Kinn the entire time after Porsche finds out that he has been lied to by Korn again and again. From the beginning, Korn was never worried about whether or not Porsche would agree because he had Porsche's mother at his mercy, and locked up somewhere this whole time. And he was ready to use her at any given point as he saw fit. He, most likely, was planning on revealing that to Porsche at some point in time when he was good and ready but things obviously did not go as planned. Korn was playing the long game but Uncle Thee showing Porsche that picture messed things up for Korn. That's why he wanted Kinn and Porsche to get out of town so bad last episode because that would buy him time to hunt down Thee and kill him before he spoke but you know that's not what happened. So When Porsche ran away from the house in the last episode, Korn started to think up the fastest way to get what he wanted meaning a way to justify getting rid of Gun and give the position to Porsche so that ultimately he could solidify and stabilize his power until Kinn was ready to take over. Korn very much knew that the moment gun thought he died or was somehow out of the equation, his brother would show his true colors and attack and everyone who sided with his brother and/or was not loyal to the main family would align themselves with Gun and they would all be taken out at once, like those clowns at the board meeting (he knows how trigger happy Kinn could get). Gun attacking would give him a legit excuse to shoot him dead and pass his power on to whoever he picked without a fuss from nobody. I'm pretty sure he told Kim and chan about his plan cuz of their reactions at the hospital, those looks, were sus to me and we never got to see what that meeting was about when Korn called Kim in the last episode. Kim was ready for them to come after Porchay for a reason. He sends someone to get rid of Thee before he spills the whole truth and then gets ready for Porsche to come asking questions. This man is the devil, I tell you. And I Know Porsche doesn't trust Korn or want that position as head of the minor family but Porsche realizes that he needs to be in a position where he can 1) be of help to Kinn, and protect him from not only his enemies but from his own father and 2) have enough influence and power of his own to find out the truth for himself and even take Korn on if he has to. So, it makes absolute sense why he would accept the minor family ring. I suspect Porsche has a plan and I hope we see him take action in season 2 if it ends up happening since they said it's not just one season. And I'm also pretty damn sure mama is faking her memory loss. Cuz If you look at the look on her face at the end and the fact that at the beginning of the episode she was talking about little birds meaning freedom and happiness to Porsche and here in the last scene she was painting birds in pairs. I don't think that's a coincidence.

"What is it about them that makes me weak." Idk man it's Vegas, he's done something to all of our hearts, we were suspicious but attracted then we felt bad, then we liked him, then we Loved him. It happened so quick. Also we have never seen you be so interested and shocked when something happens, Vegas getting shot was such a shock for those who didn't know it was going to happen. XD

this was a good final cap, I'm waiting for the second season, VegasPete broke my heart and gave it back to me in the end 👍☺️

Thank you for this candid and heart-wrenchingly honest reaction to KinnPorsche. I cried for a while too when Vegas got shot so I'm right there with you. Thankfully everything turned out alright and we both could breath again! This BL has set the bar so high that it is doubtful if I have patience to watch another run-of-the-mill BL ever again. They so pale in comparison although there are a few gems in the BL jungle. One that I liked very much was Japanese BL Cherry Magic, it it truly sweet and fun!

Bible and Build did such a good job that they stole most of our hearts with their performance even though their partner in the series was quite complicated. Regarding the story, Korn is obviously behind everything, he is a top manipulator, he has everyone eating out of his hand and for me Porsche's mom knows things, if there is a second season she will be a very important character. I did think they waited a little too long to reveal that Vegas wasn't dead! Because I think for many of us, we had trouble gathering our thought and concentration after that. And that was kinda unfair to the other actors in the others storylines. But oh well. Tbh I think Mr Korn did Vegas a favor, by making Porche the head of minor family. At first I was indignat by it, like you, because that was his birth right - however this will acually give Vegas the opportunity to free him self from the expections of his father and his low self-esteem due to it. Also this gives him the chance to actually love his brother truly, if you remember after the hedgehog died, Vegas said that at some point Macau would also leave him no matter what, because eventually they would be fighting over "the ring" like Gun and Korn. But now Vegas can whole-hearted build himself a family to take care of, one that loves him unconditionally. But if we get a season 2 I don't think the peace will last... Also Erica as the MVP, who would have thought?!

Ok I'm late to this reaction but I just wanna say something although some other comments already kind of mentioned it. Although I believe neither Korn or Gun are good people, I think Guns version of the flashback was more accurate. When Porsche gets the flashback about his fathers' death when he's in the cupboard, there's subtitles that come up on the screen but no audio. That exact dialogue is only said in Guns version of the flashback which is why I believe Korn was the one who killed Porsche's dad. But also it was super suspicious that Korn killed Gun as Gun was about to say something about the mother.

I felt like you during the episode except I just wanted to see Kim and Porchay. Their lack of screen time is so painful.

Pete trusts Korn because of all the good things Korn did for his family and his people from the southern island in Thailand that he’s from, Vegas doesn’t trust Korn AT ALL. Actually Vegas was the only character who knew Korn uses a facade of a nice loving dad around everyone because of all the things Vegas’ himself had to endure growing up because of Korn and his own dad. Vegas even tells Pete that Korn isn’t a nice man in the novel but Pete has a hard time believing him. I would give you another reason why Vegas hates the main family and Korn other than the dad comparing him to Kinn or Korn killing his dad… it is related to Vegas’ mom but idk if you’re going to read the novel.

I stopped watching when Vegas got shot and cried for an hour, thinking what is Pete gonna do now.....like Vegas is dead what's gonna happen to Pete......He literally gave up on the major clan for Vegas......and then after crying for nearly an hour I decided to go and rant on tweeter but there I saw the last scene 😅then I came back and watched the whole thing🤭
