Today is Friday, I am again with Gamer, in Soba Aradi, in Khartoum, in Sudan. We go around his neighborhood, visit his aunt, and we go for an incredible lunch, the most delicious goat head you can find in the world.

As I watch your trip through my beloved country, my heart aches for the difficult situation that Sudan has reached. Qamar's kindness and spontaneity truly touch the heart, and he is a truly wonderful person. Brother Qamar, I hold all my respect and appreciation for you. Your diligence and unwavering thirst for knowledge, despite the challenging circumstances in our country, are truly admirable. Yves, I want to express my gratitude for your good manners and positive spirit. We hope that one day our country will rise again, free from the failed politicians who have torn Sudan apart and destroyed our nation. I suggest organizing a fundraiser for Qamar to support his college education and provide for his lovely family. Even a small donation, such as one dollar, can make a significant difference for this amazing person and his family. Thank you again, Yves ❤️

Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country. Once said by a very cleaver wise man and true in every way.

@@mrtrx While the quote "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country" by John F. Kennedy may have some truth in certain contexts, it is not necessarily applicable to all situations. In the case of Qamar who is striving to pursue his college education and support his family despite the challenging circumstances in Sudan, it is important to recognize that he is already doing what he can for his country by working hard and seeking knowledge. Moreover, in many cases, individuals and communities are already doing their part to contribute to their country, and it is the responsibility of the government and leaders to provide support and resources to help them succeed. In Sudan, the failed politicians have contributed to the country's current difficult situation, and it is important to hold them accountable for their actions rather than solely placing the burden on individual citizens to solve the country's problems. Therefore, while it is important for individuals to be active citizens and contribute to their country, it is also essential for governments and leaders to prioritize the well-being and success of their citizens by providing support and resources to help them thrive.
