I walk around Piassa in search of a barber, but as soon as I dive into the narrow streets, everyone is terrified of my camera. Finally, I find some people to help me find a barber, but sadly, my guides were not genuine... I could hear them talking about how much they should charge me, during a big part of the haircut...

As an advice to every traveler... When you travel and discover a new place, look carefully for prices and see the experiences of previous travelers... Do not go with strangers, they may be thieves like the ones you met... Fourth, do not say that you are alone, but you have friends from this country and they are They will come shortly...but you went out for a walk alone for a bit...the person was a thief because he asked you why you didn't hire someone from the area to take a tour with you...and he asked you if you were alone or not...and this confirms that he is a bad person. Unfortunately, you were the victim of a robbery.

Look at 13:40. Bigna was telling you he came to Ethiopia to visit his mother, because she's sick, and his friend was literally facepalming listening to this BS. His facial expression tells you everything. Personally, I would have just paid the 600 Birr/$10.98/ and walked away from them. There is a lot of poverty in the country. Inflation is at an all time high and the cost of everything is skyrocketing. 1 US Dollar is 54.64 Birr at banks and airports, but 1 USD is widely traded in the black market for 110 Birr, so 600 Birr is basically $5.45.

25:18 Yves hands 2 bills to the guy (looks like blue and pink), his friend takes them, then if you watch, the friend goest to hand the bills to the barber, but keeps the inside one (pink) and only gives the outside one (blue) to the barber (this happens around 25:25).

I just watched the vid of you in Kenya. You got a good haircut, a shave, a full-on massage, and great conversation = $13. Here in Ethiopia, a good haircut, and a rough shave = $12. No worries, we all get scammed here and there. You handled it well. Good luck with future posts.

I appreciate all you efforts to learn and pass your knowledge of different cultures and facts. The wooden tooth brushes people use are not like you said not because people don't have money it is traditional brush maybe long before the modern world came up with what we use now. Keeping snow white and clean teeth was a trdition. Had you tried one or 2 of them you would have learned why. Not every wood can be a brush, most have good flavor and are sweet. Have a great day.

If you died TODAY, where would you be spending eternity? Have all your sins been forgiven or are you still hoping that you're a good enough person to earn a spot in heaven. The reality is that no one can earn a spot, our sin disqualifies us. But the God news is that Jesus paid for our qualification by dying on our behalf taking the punishment that we deserved. JESUS said, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son; that WHOEVER believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16 Nothing is more important than your eternal destination. Please, don't say, "When I get older I'll get right with God' or 'I'll get serious with Jesus one day when I'm ready.' Don't wait any longer, today is the day of salvation. Get right with God today, for tomorrow very well might be too late. We invite you to REPENT and accept that Jesus Christ is Lord of your life by praying this simple prayer out loud right now... 'Heavenly Father, I turn away from my old life and repent for my sins. I believe that Jesus came for me, that Jesus died for me and that Jesus rose again for me so that I can be forgiven and receive eternal life. I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, receive the gift of eternal life. I ask you to fill me with the Holy Spirit and lead me for the rest of my life. In Jesus name - Amen.

I think you did your best since you are a foreigner, and in countries where the rules do not work, anything can happen to a foreigner. So your politics saved you this time, but my advice is: "Try not to let people come close to you and chase you at a great distance." When something is not so urgent, you can do it yourself without much help from others. Wish u to be healthy and happy all the time.
