Kin, you are such an inspiration. To anyone who happen to read this comment, let us all strive and do our best to catch the ultimate dream of our lives. Most people just live their lives fully unaware of what they truly want, of what they are truly capable of, trapped in a whirlpool of workloads that they don't love because they need to make money. It is such a gift and luck to be able to tell what we really want to do in life. However, luck is only a small percentage of what makes our dream come true. The rest is up to us, whether we decide to stay in our comfort zone, being chained to one-way stream of fate, or we break the chains and make our own fate. There's nothing better than earning money by doing what we love doing.

@@ravenatort Go for it. I'm one of those who have a late start to finally decide. I'm not happy with my current job, working for 6 days a week with difference in benefits than foreign employees, and when shits happen, the "boss" would blame it on the "lesser" employees without analyzing all opinions from everyone. I have always been believing that chance and happiness should be created by ourselves, our desires, but my current job truly confirms my beliefs. I didn't pick this job coz I desired it, and now I paid the price. Even tho I pretty much could provide myself with the salary and become independent, I feel that each day my life energy is sucked dry. Now I have decided to pursue my own desire that has been locked up for far too long.

They're fun as all hell! But I try not to overdo it when I play. They might be fancy but I don't do them when I practice -- that's what sitting in front the computer for hours is for! Stick tricks practice!

Thanks for sacrificing time (and money for broken parts) to these powerful covers! BTW, i wouldve requested "Blade of Hope", since it's a bit good. I requested this several months ago, and i think it's time to bring it up. Thanks anyways, Kin. Edit: i think the reason why "Blade of Hope" is considerable is because, it seems easier and mellow, while packing its own punch.

Hi Kin I would like you to know that you really inspire me. I played drums about 3 years ago, but I don't have one of my own, but I go to school. I never really thought about buying one, but after knowing your channel and listening to my favorite drummers again, I'm thinking of buying a drum to finally fulfill my dream. From a very young age, when I saw Joey Jordison for the first time, I knew that I wanted to play drums, but when I met your channel, and I saw you play with so much energy and joy, songs not as common as openings are (saying common I mean that they are not from Led Zepellin or bands like that) I realized that I may want to devote myself to music for the rest of my life. Sorry if I expressed myself wrong, I don't speak English, and I used my language skills to write this hahaha. Regards!

The headphones I wear are specifically designed to cancel out a lot of the sound coming from my kit as well as listen to music through my computer/phone/etc. Though because the drums are so loud, they still cut through the headphones enough for me to hear them as well as the music just right. The headphones are the Vic Firth stereo headphones, I highly recommend them.

How do you hit the bass kicks. Is it double or is it just one pedal. I just want to know how you do bass kicks so fast

It really depends on the part!I typically use Heel-Toe technique for the short/quick double strokes parts. Otherwise I use both pedals for triplets.
