Totally loved this series - please do more. One suggestion - can you keep the photos up just a little longer while you talk about them - for a non-designer, it takes just a little bit more time to absorb the principles and changes. Thanks so much for sharing all of your true hard work, talent and experience!

Totally, I’m just a plain old housewife but I see a lot of builders mistake in my current home like kitchen sink and bathroom sinks to name a few, the size and functionality weren’t considered when they put it in. And not that easy to change as I would have to rip granite countertops ughh .

As a retired Interior Designer, I loved this series: all things that I espoused over my years in the business. Yes, keep this 'Mistake' series going and I'll contribute some other design faux pas that I encountered over and over and over. How about hanging art too high and not in relationship to the furniture below and around it? How about too small rugs? How about furniture that is too large and overstuffed as well as too many pieces of furniture in a space? Or, how about the bad accessory arrangements in bookcases and on coffee tables and end tables? Thank you for mentioning the bane of most designers: TOO MUCH STUFF! I'm stopping here so I don't have nightmares tonight!

Love this series of before and after--You are a design genius! Wish you would slow down a little--keep the after photos up a little longer and explain more of the after changes i.e. the accessories or colors you choose for the whole effect. Thank you. Hope you are enjoying your new home in OK. God bless you and your family.

OMG, that dining room chandelier is way too high! No point in having it there. Loving this series, especially the before and after pictures. Have you ever considered a mini-series on rooms/homes that just need that final boost of design elements to go from nice to wow? The changes would be few and/or not terribly expensive but the outcome should dazzle. Anyway, thanks for all your expertise and fun-loving style.

During the pandemic (lots of down time :), I decided to look up "How to make a beautiful bed" on KZfaq. A Rebecca Robeson video came up and I have been obsessed ever since. I've joined the design sessions and keep up on IG and KZfaq. I have gleaned so much from Rebecca and Sharrah and I'm not even close to being finished with their design sessions! I'm a newbie who's 74 years old. Wouldn't it have been great if I knew all this stuff way back when! I have a beautiful home, but now I tweak it just a bit after every session. My kitchen with an attached family room has 18 top hats, yes 18 eye balls staring at me. My friends thought I was insane changing them out to more streamline units! It looks so much cleaner and modern now. Also, removed a too small ceiling fan with boob light and replaced it with a more modern look, no light. Certainly didn't need another light with 18 already! Totally agree with you ...light up those beautiful chandeliers!

_(Wanted to add another comment on a different topic to my other one.)_ Re: *the split level condo re-do:* Potentially *_so_* much to comment on! This kind of _'split level, open to lower floor'_ floor plan seems to have been popular in the nineties, and I think it's got a lot going for it, including: --Light spills over from one level to the other --High, airy ceiling heights --A sense of space and openness, yet separation between rooms on separate levels --Potential to do the interesting decor things unique to tall-ceilinged rooms With actually minimal 'doing', the designer has accomplished *SO* much. The best (in my opinion) being the two *_real_** palm trees.* *Indoor trees* are---even today with all the renewed popularity of houseplants---sadly, often unutilized. The two massive palms in this space show not only the design principle the designer is talking about, but how *incredibly gorgeous it is to have 'nature' inside your living space!* And, if the homeowner maximizes the wattage, and keeps the pot lights on during the day, the plants will likely have enough lumens to at least be maintained in good health.

Thank you Rebecca. You really excel at working with problems and finding the perfect solutions to make your clients’ spaces shine. The beach house and the loft were master classes and the many room refreshes are very instructive as well. You always go in and correct those architectural quirks by balancing them, or disguising them, or distracting from them, in the most stylish ways. A design/build team updated my home before I bought it, but you have me looking around now, to see if I can make any more improvements.

The dining room at the 8:40 spot could also be used to discuss furniture placement. Notice how the dining chairs are placed so you see the sides of the two nearest, rather than the back of a first one facing the door. Much better and more dramatic.

Hi Wendy How are you doing, i hope pretty cool? I have to agree. I watch some others and they are boring. Your personality is what brings it all together. I would love to know a little about you if you don't mind, where are you from if i may ask?

Love the before and after pictures. I do agree that photos need to be displayed just a tad longer cause even if I hit the pause key, I have to rewind cause it’s just too fast. Great job & design great teacher. Thank you!

Fun video! Thank you. What little I know about feng shui says that having the foot of the bed facing the doorway is not good. “…It’s considered bad for your health because dead bodies traditionally are removed from a bedroom feet first. It's also believed that when you sleep with your feet facing the bedroom door, you'll feel restless and dissatisfied at home, and a sense of relaxation will escape you.” Do you give any consideration to feng shui in your practice? I’m new to your channel and love your relationship with your son, and your new home.
