I've had 3 deaths in my family all last week My son got in a bunch of trouble that I don't know how hes gonna get himself out of I'm in my fifties and I need these videos to keep me going keep my spirit up I want to thank you thank you thank you darling for everything you do💗💗💗💗

It takes me a good 4 weeks to decorate my whole home for Christmas. I started watching you 15 years ago. I have gone crazy decorating for Christmas because of you. I put up 6 trees all themed and I look forward to changing it up each year and always wondered what your color scheme would be each year. You are a true inspiration to me and a ton of others. Thanks for this! In these days of comparison, the overwhelm sets in fast. I was shocked when I bought my house to learn you can't redo an entire kitchen in one weekend as they do on tv. Oh Rebecca, I love this video. So so real! What we won't do to make our vision come to fruition. I was trampolining in the grass behind my house looking for natural items to use as addition stems (floral picks) to put in my tree. Oh the little burrs were on me and I hadn't discovered them until I sat down! Thank you this made my day. Love your sense of humor.

So relatable! Last Christmas, I had to go to a Hobby Lobby one hour away from us because the one near us ran out of the stuff I needed. I also almost never go to stores, but come Christmas decorating, I go back about to the stores about 10 times coz there's "just one more thing" I need to complete the design. I thought I was the only one who was "crazy", but turns out Rebecca's kinda the same. It;s nice to know you go through the same struggles I do.

Dear Rebecca, You have made my afternoon! Hurricane Nicole just breezed through my neighborhood in Southwest Central Florida and I laughed at all your narrations! I always wait till after Thanksgiving to decorate. But I go all out. This year I still have not packed away every thing from last year. Sad but true. Long story shortened I have a new puppy and he likes to chew on everything. So this year I have one small table top tree and all the lights are going to be used outside! Next year should be better. I love that you go the extra mile and revamp the entire house for Christmas, as it provides so many ideas and such inspiration for the rest of us... at varying degrees. I used to go all out and transform almost every room from doorways, windows, tabletops to mantles. Now, not so much, but I still like to have a touch of Christmas in every room. What used to take weeks has been streamlined and only takes a few days. Thank goodness I don’t change themes each year like you, but I’m also not creating content for over a million people. Plus my basement isn’t as large as yours and would have no place to store all the gorgeous ornamental options! Loving the documentary and enjoyed some giggles at the pinecone gathering extravaganza! Next year you might see if neighbors need someone to rake up pine needles and pinecones. I bet you’ll get lots of takers and pinecones for every project imaginable! Can’t wait for the Christmas tour of all the details and thought processes behind your choices, decisions and placements of everything! I’m feeling festive thanks to all of your beautiful content! Not only are our lives crazy, but most of us can't afford all the help, so we are doing it on our own. I do have a fence installer, and my son is repairing my ceiling, but everything else-- outdoor lights, all the decorating, cleaning, moving furniture, plants, is ME by myself-- and yes, I have some big, awkward heavy stuff. But it's fun to imagine! 😮

-central Wisconsin: Thank you for this documentary style video! Looking forward to part 2. I’ve always loved Christmas & decorating for it, but a few years ago I came down with chronic Lyme disease, have not worked for 20 months (because of my health condition), and just don’t have the energy or desire to decorate, so it has not been happening. I also use to host a Christmas Open House 3-4 weeks before Christmas (on a Saturday, for friends and family to stop by, visit, and share in some holiday time together). I miss all of that, but at least I get to experience some of this, living vicariously, through your Christmas videos. Thank you Rebecca!

Hi becky....first ...I use very tall ladder..put 2 long broomstick together leaving broom on one end an hit the branches to get pinecones..lol..Florida has awsome cones..my son gathers many for me ..perfect size tooo....I too am hiper..go go go...it to takes me month an 2wk to deco my house inside an out...I do my ceilings with lrg snow flakes an balls...

I’m with you - I cannot work in clutter. House needs to be deep cleaned and all my decor is labeled and cleaned before and after. The prep actually takes longer than the decorating. Then I edit - too much makes me feels “stuffy”. I also move my decor around and revamp it, only purchasing a few good quality things each year. Loved this video, nice to see you in a hot mess of decor and it doesn’t just appear perfect, there is actually so much work involved!🥰🙋🏼‍♀️🇨🇦🎄🤶🏻

I can not tell you how much I truly loved this video. I too have boxes unorganized in my basement that I alone drag up and back down and the mess is unbelievable. Lol. But so woth it. I was setting here laughing. This stuff happens. I am going through it now with three different things going on. It will probably take me about tree weeks to decorate for Christmas. I hate the mess but love it when it is done. I would have more Christmas decorations if I had the storage place. Your home is gorgeous. Congratulations on the new grand baby. Boy ? You are amazing. How you didn’t get stressed out with so much going on and if you were you sure handled it well. I’ve been using the same beautiful Xmas decorations for around 25 years, I know how boring but I love them and they make me happy with lots of memories of Christmas past. I just love your passion! I'm very passionate too about Christmas decorating and my hubby thinks I'm a little coo coo but I don't care. I live in an apartment but I make it beautiful. I also put up a Christmas village that's all animated! If I had a house I would start very early too and I would love to be your neighbor and friend! LOL We would go crazy together! LOL

Yes! I thought it was just me! Can't do my seasonal decorating without cleaning first. Same with cooking. Can't cook in a messy kitchen.

Super idea and a gift Rebecca to let everyone see a docu-style behind the scenes story! By including all of of the realness, you show the discipline and hard work and time that goes into your channel and your visions. To me, this is imperative for everyone to see. A short clip or photo of before and after can be quite limiting on social media and many people judge themselves by that. Thank you for keeping it real! xo
