This story of Muumandu gets me rolling on the floor when I listen to Kinyambu Nzamba Ya Ukinya narrate it. Yaani these guys walibebana ile chocha ya "squad ya Mombasa Road" to help their friend Munyi bring back his wife Jacinta who had gone back to her parents after a small couple's misunderstanding. Munyi informed his boys club that the reason he was sleeping coiling himself like a milipende with his hands in between legs, was because the cantankerous fossil in the name of father in law could not allow his beloved Jacinta back until he (munyi) fulfils all the customary requirements of the Atangwa clan. He was required to bring the goats of ntheo, perform ngasya, nthasya mukwa and other necessities before he could be allowed to take back Jacinta. The father was getting worried that his first born daughter was getting old in Munyi's home yet they had not taken any steps to make her part of their family. But Munyi was not yet ready for this and instead of more arguments with the old man, he decided to tag his deadly Mombasa Road squad to help him snatch Jacinta from the jaws of her father. Danny of Kinyambu was selected as their commander due to his physique of the protruding tummy which they believed "kitambi itapewa heshima yake". Siangiki was to be on the front line due to his war experience when they had such an encounter in Kilome. Then Mwanzia was to drive them and remain vigilant and mark escape routes in case of counter attack. On arrival, Baba Jacinta excused himself to go call his brothers for negotiations. Ten minutes later, he comes back with 10 old men. You know those that wear the type of coats with slit on the behind? Not forgetting a certain hat that covers their bald heads from the scorching sun. Those that walk as if they are bending but they can see as far as past Malili town from Katuaa. Our Mombasa Road squad thought these neighbors were there for dowry negotiation. The Cock himself as the commander, was the first to speak introducing the rest of the crew. But just as he was about to mention the name Jacinta, a flying kick hit his chest that made him lose his memory for a second. And when he thought that the blow was from Siangiki his fellow crew, he saw one the old men charging at him at a speed of a racing horse. That is when he realized that looks are deceiving. Wazees in Muumandu are more physically fit than the young men of Huruma. And just as he bend down to dodge the next kick that was directed to his children's manufacturing organs, he saw his squad member Kilundo trying to struggle one the old men, only for him to be overpowered through an uppercut that got him on his chest sending him sprawling on the ground like a bag of patotoes in Kongowea market. And then as Siangiki was trying to "remove himself" from the ngori, pleading for his life claiming he didn't even know them, he was met with a kichwa that hit him on the forehead making him rotate 360 degrees like mbila resulting to his falling into a ditch. He was heard speaking in tongues and the only word that could be understood was "aume ndekyei"... But as Munyi suffered the most of the beating, worse of it all was when the family dog "Kilinga" stepped in to assist the host and took forward charging at Mwanzia the driver. As Mwanzia jumped one of the terraces in the farm, the only way to save himself from the jaws of kilinga, was to leave his trousers behind as the carnivorous animal couldn't let it go. Siangiki was not the fainting kind, he ran on zigzag style in order to dodge stones thrown to him. And as fast as his dear feet could carry him, the rest of the squad found him at Country bus telling the story to Man Mwash.😂😂😂. Cock their commander was seen leaping like a ballet dancer with ants in his pants. 😂Let me laugh a little and come back to finish the story 😂. Follow my page please 🙏🙏
