My Grandma, Jessie Aitson Aunko used to sing Kiowa hymns and read her Bible while sitting on her bed. I miss her.

Please share more Kiowa songs or anything to learn our language. I want to teach my son. We no longer live in the area but know that our youth need help in learning about our people. Aho!

MY LATE GRANDFATHER WHOSE NAME IS RALPH KOTAY LOVED SINGING KIOWA POW WOW SONGS & CHURCH SONGS & COMPOSE THE COMANCHE FLAG SONG. HE LOVED BEING AROUND THE DRUM AT O-HO-MAH LODGE AT INDIAN CITY USA ANADARKO & TRAVELING TO OTHER TRIBES POWWOWS. I *KIOWAJOE * IS HIS ONLY SURVIVING GRANDSON WHO IS A REAL KIOWA ON THE KOTAY SIDE OF THE FAMILY, AND WE ALL LIVED AT PEARL DOYEBI KOTAY & RAY KOTAY OLD HOUSE OUTSIDE OF APACHE OKLAHOMA. I TOLD GRANDPA ONE TIME THAT I SING ROCK & ROLL! AND HAD A GOOD LONG VISIT THAT HOT SUMMER DAY. MY FAMILY ARE STRONG CHURCH PEOPLE AND ARE DOWN TO EARTH . I WOULD LOVE TO DEDICATE HIS SONGS TO THE SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTE OR THE AMERICAN INDIAN MUSEUM AT WASHINGTON. D.C. & LISTEN TO N D.N'S! for N.D.N'S! at K.R.P.T.!@ ANADARKO, on SATURDAY MORNINGS. MAY HE REST IN PEACE @ 😇HAPPY HUNTING GROUND & @ POW WOW HIGHWAY & AH! HO! 2016

Hello There, I used to work for Our Kiowa Culture Program before the Kiowa Complex opened up. That program was coordinated by Nelson Bigbow with Louie Toyebo the Head Linquiest. I learned from that program that Smithsonian Institute or The American Indian Museum Wherever or any other museums is a bad choice because those people have their own policy & regulations charging Us Tribal people to view or learn about Our Own Songs. It be Best You talk with Our Kiowa Administration in Carnegie to include the current Kiowa Museum Administration Curator or the Committee to look into Grant Monies to gather Our Own Kiowa Songs or Recorded Language into Our Own Tribal Cultural Facility to have within Our Own Tribal Facilities to be open to Us K'Oui-Gou's. This is just My thought.
